About Douglas

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Physical and play with speed regardless of the play call. Deep ball, slant, out, post, or blocking. Defensively, I’m physical at the point of contact and disciplined in my assignments.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I feel I’m a confident player because of how hard I work. My mental focus is always on my mind keeping me disciplined. I’m a leader because I lead by example and do everything to prepare not just myself, but my team aswell.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Junior rebels, I received several MVP’s. For AAU track multiple first place medals, broke 1:00 in the 400 in 8th grade. Williamsport football I was awarded MVP leading in interceptions. Williamsport track I also won many first place medals and ran a 52.82 in the 400. For Spring mills I won rookie of the year, and made the 1000 pounds club.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have developed all 3, consistently organizing many team workouts, helping out with youth football and track, and being a leader in the classroom.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Going into 9th grade I popped my right hip flexor not allowing me to compete in the junior Olympics for AAU track. During my 10th grade year I hyperextended my left knee.

What type of college are you looking for?

I look for colleges that have strong football programs and good academic support for athletes. It's important that the coaching staff, the facilities, and the overall team are always there to help out. Also, the academic programs if they offer and if they align with my interests and career goals.
