‘s 19 completions, racking up 77 yards on just those three opportunities. Diaz-Ellis would reach the end zone after two of those receptions. Arguably the best uncommitted senior in Pennsylvania, Diaz-Ellis would provide an interception in this one as well. I could easily make the case that DDE was the MVP of this incredible 5A Championship game. Very happy to see him put together the year he had over at McDevitt.

top receiving target. Diaz-Ellis can do it all as a wide receiver and has developed into a reliable and complete wide receiver. Diaz-Ellis has a chance to finish his career on a high note with a big win.

Current Recruiting Status: Caught heat this Summer, earning offers out of Kent State, Akron, and Monmouth. Could have been offered since, yet no announcements of that have come forth. This a head-scratcher to me. I’m obviously a bit biased, I’ve done what I can to propel DDE’s name to whoever will listen. Diaz and Saunders were incredible all year-round, very surprised to see the lack of interest in respect to his ranking. I’d under the impression that Dominic Diaz is still a take at all three schools mentioned above, even the G5 schools. I’d press on Diaz to commit sooner rather than later.
CONDENSED GAME ~
Bishop McDevitt took down Conrad Weiser in the District 3 5A quarters.

I spent a good amount of time gassing up Dominic Diaz to anyone who would listen to me before the game. Parents, coaches, media, and anyone next to me was going to hear praise out of me concerning Diaz-Ellis. Thankfully, the senior wideout had me looking good among my peers. I won’t dive into what DDE brings to the table, I’ve been doing that for over a year now on PRZ. It’s great to see hard work bear fruit this quickly.

too, all of these options, and yet Dominic Diaz has worked enough to lead this group as the Crusader’s main target. This revealed itself this past Saturday night. I’m unsure how comfortable Stone is with Diaz, if he wasn’t comfortable before this game it’s likely he is now. Diaz would torch MSJ defenders on two occasions, both leading to touchdowns. Quite the debut.

had the unfortunate situation where he did not get onto the field last year because of a transfer situation until the end of the year. So this off-season has been huge for him going into his Senior year to re-establish his recruiting. When I saw him at the Prep Redzone Showcase he was the best wide receiver at the camp. He did a good job all camp running routes and catching the ball. He earned an offer from Maine at that camp, his 3rd Division One offer. This year I am excited to see his progress on the field from all his hard work in the off-season.

Recruiting update…
After over a year of clamoring and shouting Dominic Diaz’s name to any coach in the Northeast who would pay attention, after years of hard work and dominating competition, Dominic Diaz finally heard back from an FBS program in the form of a scholarship offer. This offer out of Kent State University being Diaz’s first, coming before playing a single snap at Bishop McDevitt. My rankings and eyes validated by Coach Rymiszewski. This coming days before our camp, which Diaz used as a stepping stool to earn more collegiate offers. Akron would pull the trigger on May 10th, Maine would pull the trigger in-house after watching Dominic Diaz tear through great competition at our event. I’m surprised every Division One school in attendance didn’t offer Diaz as soon as the camp ended, he was that spectacular. Diaz is a top 30 2025 in Pennsylvania, which might be cutting him short a bit as well. Diaz is finally in a spot where he doesn’t need any additional push from guys like myself, he’s put in the work to get his name on the map, now it’s time to double-down and get ready for the Fall season that is quickly approaching.

I struggle with the fact we didn’t name Dominic Diaz MVP. It’s hardly the point of why he attended, however. Diaz-Ellis is on one hell of a stretch in the recruiting world, he came specifically to prove his speed to Maine, Monmouth, Lehigh, and other schools present. He did that by posting a 4.60 and a 4.46 40 time (HT). That secured things for coaches, seeing him fly by DBs was the nail in the coffin. Diaz went home with another FCS offer under his belt, easy work for the Top 50 junior. MVP performance in my eyes.

‘s recruitment has started to heat up with three offers coming his way in the last week. Diaz-Ellis only played in one game last year, because of a transfer issue. Diaz-Ellis currently has offers from Kent State, Akron, and Maine. I expect more offers to come his way as well.
Recruiting Question: When does his momentum stop? Getting three offers in a week is impressive. I expect more offers to come his way. It is so exciting to see where his progress goes from here.

5. AIT
Bishop McDevitt’s Dominic Diaz was practically unguardable all event. Diaz was a blur in terms of speed, the kid got out of his stance with the purpose of scoring, he did that on numerous occasions. Diaz’s two-way performance, doubling as a DB, gives him the top-five nod over the rest. Attitude and confidence, Diaz-Ellis showed off a bit of alpha to his game. I’m here for this version of DDE, the young man ran by kids left and right, having no problem telling those kids about it after scoring too. I don’t have a problem with this approach so long as your game backs it up, it sure as hell did. I have to take 7v7 performances with a grain of salt, yet I came away impressed with the junior. DDE fit right in with the likes of Hardy, Coke, and many other studs present. I feel much better about his ranking knowing he can go toe-to-toe with great prospects from out of state.
