A prospect who I think is in line for early offers. He has to keep his head down, continue producing and maintain a good GPA, but I could seriously see FBS coaches inquiring about him sooner rather than later.
At 6’4″, 200 pounds, Stewart can dabble at wide receiver, but I view him as an edge or defensive end prospect. He posted a first three game tape on Hudl with about a minute and a half worth of production readily available. Through that stretch, he has recorded 11 tackles, three tackles for loss and a couple of quarterback pressures. There is a lot to like about this Bishop McDevitt junior beyond just the intriguing build and frame.
Stewart looks comfortable rushing the passer or crashing down the line with his hand off the dirt presnap. He has the long limbs coaches desire, and not every 6’4″ edge rusher is built the same. Stewart appears to have the long arms and long stride off the line of scrimmage that translate well to the position. His closing speed is also a plus, and he narrowly missed recording two or three sacks through the first few games. His game is currently more geared toward rushing the passer than stopping the run. Stewart is already ranked as a Division I level prospect, but I might have to move him inside the top 100 based on his potential alone.

possesses outstanding length and athletic upside that make him a unique two-way prospect. At 6-foot-4, he creates matchup problems as a receiver while using his size and reach to disrupt offenses from the defensive end position. Stewart’s versatility gives the Crusaders another weapon on both sides of the football. As he continues to add strength, his overall impact should increase significantly. He has all the tools to become one of Bishop McDevitt’s breakout young stars.
