Miltsch, a new name to know on McDevitt’s defense, made an impact against both the run and the pass. He made nine total tackles (three solo) and sacked the quarterback once. Good Counsel couldn’t get much going in the passing or running game, and the front-seven of McDevitt (which included Miltsch), was a big reason why. Not the biggest, but Good Counsel had trouble blocking him because he was quicker than the bigger offensive linemen trying to block him. He’s very active and should easily post 75-plus tackles this season.

is a talented edge/defensive lineman. The best part of his game is his versatility. He played up and down the Bishop McDevitt defensive line. He has good strength as a dominant defensive lineman. He also shows good athleticism as he chases plays in the offensive backfield. His ability to play all over the defensive line allows him to stay on the field in all situations. With his athleticism and strength, I expect Miltsch to play tight end next year. He is a good prospect with a bright future.

does not have any film from last year, but I saw his camp footage. I came away impressed with his ability. He has a ton of potential as an edge defender. His ability to explode out of his stance is excellent. He also has a great bend to his game and can get under the pads of offensive tackles. He is also difficult to block off the edge as he explodes out of his stance. I cannot wait to see him play next season, because he has the potential to improve.
