is an impressive athlete who has great size (6’5″) and speed. For someone as big as him, you rarely see them have such blazing speed. His ability to run by defenders from the receiver position is impressive. He has elite track speed. He also has an incredible ability to make defenders miss. He is good at catching short passes and making defenders miss in the open field. Then, as an outside linebacker, he is excellent at playing in space. He is a sideline-to-sideline linebacker. On both sides of the ball, Smith is a dynamic athlete who can do it all.

is an electric athlete who played as a wide receiver and outside linebacker. Simply, you do not see many players of his size (6’4″) and athletic ability. As a wide receiver, he is unbelievable after the catch. His ability to catch the ball and make defenders miss in space is special. Then you add in his ability to go up and out-jump defensive backs, and you’ve got a special receiver. As an outside linebacker, he is great at making plays all over the field and running sideline-to-sideline. Smith recruitment has blown up in the spring with offers from Toledo, Penn State, Syracuse, and Ohio State. He has a chance to cement his recruitment with a big year.

. He only caught 12 catches and 3 touchdowns. Those who watched his film see a player who jumps off the screen, though. You simply do not see many players who can move with the size (6’4″) and speed that Smith has. Over a few days, he received an offer from Syracuse, Penn State, and Ohio State. An impressive week for Smith, and I expect more offers coming his way soon as well.

is a freak athlete in the 2027 class. He has great size (6’4″) and athletic ability. You do not see many players as talented as Smith is, so it was not surprising to see him get his 1st offer from Syracuse recently. This is well deserved and smart by Syracuse to get ahead of other schools on this talented player.

Zayden Smiths size jumps out on paper, but it really jumps out on his tape. 6’4” WR who almost never loses a 50/50 ball yeah sign me up, a 6’4” WR who has a little shake in his hips in his routes, it will definitely play at the next level. This size is something college coaches and recruiters drool over for a WR. While this is a WR article I do want to highlight the whole package with Smith, he plays SS for Cumberland Valley, almost in a Nickel role. That’s awesome right, well he also has some reps where he’s being used like an OLB, all while offering that DB versatility, talking to others about Smith I found myself giving him high praise in my eyes seeing similarities to current Gamecocks WR Nyck Harbor, the size, movement, and endless positional range is almost looking in a mirror. Smith has yet to tally his first offer but I expect that to happen really soon.

before he blew up on the recruiting trail. Saw him this past Fall. One of the highest-ranking unoffered sophomores on my list. Vertical leap is a plus. Size and agility combo is a plus. If he can prove his stride, he will be offered by Power Four’s in the Northeast.

A receiver who stuck out like a sore thumb in the huddle. 6’3, 185 pounds. Unranked, my first time seeing the kid work. Didn’t have much impact on the game because of the lack of targets, yet his presence was felt on defense.
Smith has a ton of tape readily available, including a mid-season tape, yet his Twitter isn’t active. Based on size and potential alone, he could garner some serious attention. I’d likely have Smith ranked this coming update regardless of the fact that tape was available, considering his potential.
Smith’s mid-season tape blew me away. Can serve as the Z/flanker on Cumberland Valley. Has a stride to him, can freeze DBs with inside moves then out-stride kids when attacking vertically. Tough kid to bring down in open space. Is a threat in the red zone. Can be a vacuum to throw balls into via fades from the slot or outside. Can play some defense, can’t question his toughness. Is a 50/50 winner. Going to rank very high once our next update is presented. Potential is through the roof, would have loved to see him go at it with
