My gameplay style is physical, disciplined, and assignment-sound. I’m explosive off the snap, committed to winning the leverage battle, and focused on disrupting plays while staying true to my responsibilities. I play with high effort, smart awareness, and a team-first mindset every snap.

My mentality is driven, disciplined, and resilient. I stay focused on improving every day, embrace hard coaching, and stay composed under pressure.

I’m looking for a college with a competitive football program, strong academic support, and a coaching staff that develops players on and off the field. Simmons made his full-time varsity debut as a sophomore, and he did not disappoint. He racked up eight tackles for loss and four sacks as an undersized 3-technique. He’s able to make that work because of his strength and length. If he gets into the body of an offensive lineman, he’s shown consistent ability to control the line of scrimmage and throw more than a few of them around with his massive strength.

Simmons is another athletic interior defender who went from an extremely limited role as a freshman to an impact lineman as a sophomore. He’s 240, but has the strength of a much bigger player, and his film has plenty of plays of him tossing offensive linemen aside. He played on the interior in four-man fronts, but bounced outside in 3-4 looks. His quickness makes him a high-upside pass-rusher with the strength to be an every down player against the run.
