Scouting 10 of Georgia's Next Prolific Pass Rushers

*Use code "jackson30" for 30% off your PRZ subscription* The 2028 and 2029 classes are already starting to produce some noteworthy pass rushers in Georgia. Keep an eye on these 10, and make note, because if you don't know about them now... you certainly will later. [player_tooltip player_id='2251844' first='Jamal' last='Miller'] is in the midst of a strong breakout season and has emerged as one of the most prolific junior pass rushers in the state. He is easy to dream on, traits-wise, coming in at 6'3 210 with length. He is a long-levered athlete still developing initial twitch, but proves flexible enough to run the arc and get after the QB. He uses his length to his advantage by creating separation at his chest, shedding, and engulfing ball carriers. I am intrigued to see if he can add more horsepower to his game as he fills out. Duck is a breakout junior who has played well against good competition. He is a stout, strong player at 6'1 205. He will have to play hard to compensate for his size, and he does just that. He battles hard at the point of attack, and his strong lower body helps him create push. His hands and feet stay active, working in conjunction with his explosiveness and motor to win. He is a flashy player who should pick up some small school recruiting traction down the stretch. Peak plays on both lines of scrimmage for Brookstone, but will project long-term on defense. He likely won't develop into a true edge rusher, but he has contributed that way this fall, and is noteworthy regardless. He is all of 6'4 and hides 240 on his frame, meaning there is room to get bigger. He is still growing into himself, but proves athletic enough to bend around the edge and chase the football. He is a hard guard and has his best ball ahead of him. Whipple is a traitsy unsung hero on this Hephzibah squad who is in need of more attention. He is a long, raw player who is still learning to move, but is a natural winner at this phase. He is an urgent pass rusher, paired with functional closing speed. I like how he turns speed to power, frequently using his length and speed to crush blockers and set the tone physically. He is raw, but you can't argue against the traits and the upside. Across the board, this Gainesville front seven can get after it, and Simmons is a major catalyst. He is built stouter and more filled out than you would expect given his size. He is built to play with his hand in the dirt as a 4T. Explosive player off the line who makes firm contact with blockers. Is an urgent player who works hard with his hands to get himself free. Pursues well, doesn't get washed easily, and always looks to be a step ahead of blockers. Simmons is a clean, D1 projectable DE prospect. An explosive 2029 campaign from Taylor has him ranked here as one of the best 2029 EDGE rushers in the class. Listed at 6'2 200, with room to get bigger. He should be viewed as a true speed rusher, using his blend of initial quickness and speed to immediately threaten tackles. He often arrives at QB before their drop is finished, breaking the play immediately. He is an urgent, hot-motor player who works hard to free himself. He is more than capable of pursuing the ball across the field, which he will need to do at 6'2. With 15 sacks this season, Graddy has emerged as one of the most productive pass rushers in the entire country. Mixed readings on his size, but recently listed around 6'2 225. He is a strong, stout player with some horsepower. His first-step explosiveness beats blockers to the punch, and quickly grants him access to the QB. Proves to be a strong player who can win at the POA by ripping through blockers and using his hands to free himself. High-motor player who can and has broken the game this year. Davis is a long, wiry player who plays a few different spots, but long-term will project best as an edge rusher, especially at 6'3. He is a speedy, urgent player with overwhelming speed off the edge. He is a quick starter off the line and continues his pursuit around the arc. I am eager to see how he develops physically over the years. There is a lot of upside to dream on here. I turned on the Gainesville tape earlier in the year with the intent of watching someone else, but I couldn't help but notice Swanigan. He is a stout, strong player at 6'1 235. He plays with truly elite first-step explosiveness, consistently breaking the plane of the LOS as the first hat through. HE maintains that explosiveness and speed in pursuit. He plays exactly the way you need to play as a 6'0/6'1 pass rusher, and I think he will reap the rewards of it on the recruiting trail. Redding is a tall, lean, rare-traits prospect who is just a puppy, but is already producing. He plays up and down the line, and I actually think he is more disruptive on the interior. He knows how to use his hands and length to battle, and he plays hard at the POA. He can rush the passer from several spots, but his ceiling is much more well-rounded than that. I am eager to see how he develops, because there are a lot of green flags here.
