A lean, athletic defender on the rise with some versatility at 6-foot-3 175-pounds, Cole is an instinctive defender against the run who plays fast and can make big plays behind the line of scrimmage. His lean frame allows him to make plays in coverage, so he has multiple ways of impacting the game on defense. He’s physically gifted for a freshman who is turning heads so far this spring, earning recent offers from West Virginia, Tulane, Georgia Tech, among others. His potential is easy to see and he has a chance to be one of the leading defenders on a very talented Gainesville defense in 2026. Don’t be surprised if more offers come his way later this month and into the summer.

Timothy Cole Timothy Cole 6'3" | 175 lbs | DB/LB Gainesville | 2029 State GA really caught my attention with not only his impressive 6’3 frame and length but how well he’s able to move and bend with that frame at such an early age. He’s an unbelievable talent at safety and linebacker. He’s got the true potential to be a late great Sean Taylor type of player with the size and athletic ability he brings to the game on top of a ball hawking skill-set and a physicality that doesn’t go untoticed. He’s a sure tackler and a smart player. Mark my words here, Cole will be a household name in Georgia sooner than later and when we look back at this 2029 class, he will be one of the best to come out of it!
