Expert Analysis
Austin Butler | Prep Redzone Scout
Young man ended up really breaking out big-time in the playoffs in 2025 as a freshman. Wilcox has been a talent I have covered since his middle school days and heading into his sophomore year, Wilcox is going to have a major year and is a talent that will be among the best of the best on the Peach State. Big, big season ahead for him.

for a long while now and it’s safe to say I seen this coming. Wilcox received his first D1 offer just this week from UNLV. Certainly, the first of many! Wilcox had an outstanding freshman season, and he shined bright in the playoffs this year. He has tremendous size, ball skills and body control. He is going to have a monster career and 2026 year!

Wilcox is a tremendous asset to his team and a talent that will really be a major impact in this 2029 class for the Red Elephants. I have watched Wilcox develop over the last few seasons and he only gets better so it will be interesting to see how he is within his high school career.

a 2029 Under Armour All-American wide receiver, is already making a name for himself as one of the most dominant pass-catchers in his class. With elite size, blazing speed, and unmatched route-running ability, he is nearly impossible to cover one-on-one. His strong hands and impressive catch radius make him a reliable target in any situation, whether he’s hauling in deep balls, making contested catches, or snatching passes in tight windows. His ability to separate from defenders with crisp routes and sudden bursts of acceleration has made him a nightmare for opposing secondaries, solidifying his reputation as a top-tier playmaker.
His dominance was on full display at the Under Armour Combine, where he earned MVP honors, proving hes one one of the best in his class. His combination of size, speed, and technical skill sets him apart from the competition, and his work ethic ensures he’s only getting better. Whether stretching the field on deep routes, making tough grabs in traffic, or creating big plays after the catch, Trent is a true game-changer. The future is bright for this rising star as he continues to elevate his game to new heights, I can’t wait to see his journey during his high school years.

Wilcox is a guy who I have seen take the top off of defenses several times and he can get open on any route on the gridiron! His high school career will blossom very quickly in my humble opinion and his skillset is what helps set him apart.

Wilcox is one I have covered and enjoyed covering because he tends to get better each time I cover him. His skillset and frame make him a mismatch and he has a great set of hands to be a possession guy or a threat in the catch and run game. Wilcox is one of the guys who will be a must know within these next few years because he will demand that attention with his game play.

Wilcox is a guy I have covered many times and for excellent reason. Wilcox is a game changer at the WR spot and he proves that time and time again each time he takes the field. He was a MVP at the UA-Next Camp and that along will likely heighten his confidence to new levels which will help him develop even more. He’s a tremendous talent that will be a big time playmaker come friday nights.

Wilcox is someone I believe in a ton. The guy can flat out ball and his ability to play receiver is second to none! His skillset is something that really stands out and his ability to get open and catch the football will translate to the next level and I feel because of that among many other assets that Wilcox brings to the table is a good indication that he will play early in his career and create a strong impact for him and his team.

is one of my favorite WR’s in the 2029 group and he shows time and time again his dynamic ability to make huge plays to put his team in position to be successful. Wilcox has great size at his position and can score anytime the ball hits his hands. One of the best at his position in the 2029 class.

Wilcox is a big part of the 2029 core at Buford and he’s very dynamic while using his impressive body frame to his advantage to get open or snag the ball to make a big play. Wilcox and his fellow core mates are one of the best in the Peach state.
