DaKarai Bolden DaKarai Bolden 6'1" | 185 lbs | DB Hoover | 2025 State AL is a talented defensive back who’s been super reliable for McAdory but is headed to Hoover to play out his senior year. Bolden is a highly athletic DB who does a great job utilizing his athleticism out in the secondary. Standing at 6’1 185 Bolden plays with a ton of speed and toughness making wide receivers’ lives a whole lot harder. Bolden is reliable out in coverage- he isn’t easily baited, wears down wide receivers with how physical he is, and consistently uses his hands to make plays on the ball. In addition to his skills out in coverage, Bolden is a great tackler- he tracks and wraps up the ball carrier well and doesn’t shy away from delivering some big hits. Bolden is coming off a terrific junior season, throughout the year he recorded 51 total tackles (20 solo, 4 for loss). Be sure to be on the lookout for Bolden this fall, he’s heading into a big senior season for Hoover and is set to make a ton of plays!
