He, as well as Mahkai Hopkins Mahkai Hopkins 6'2" | 240 lbs | RB Harrisburg | 2023 State PA , are the two behind the Power Five trio that includes London Montgomery London Montgomery 5'11" | 190 lbs | RB Scranton Prep | 2023 State PA , Jahiem White Jahiem White 5'9" | 190 lbs | RB William Penn | 2023 State PA , and teammate Marquese Williams Marquese Williams 5'11" | 190 lbs | RB Bishop McDevitt | 2023 State PA . Bowers has his suitors, a heavily sought-after back amongst FCS teams that recruit in Pennsylvania. There is no doubt in my mind that Bowers could be successful at the G5 level, his tape proves it. Bowling Green and Old Dominion could end up with this kid in their laps.

Safe to say that having two elite backs in the backfield is a luxury many can’t afford at this level. Bowers is the pressure alleviator on offense. If Williams is out of the game, the running game won’t lose a step with Bowers toting the rock. If the passing game is struggling, rely on the tandem of Williams and Bowers. If the offensive line misses a block/assignment, Bowers is special enough to make up for it. Bowers acts as the wild card of this offense, a prospect whose role and production could expand even further. There is no ceiling too high for this kid. Excited to see what McDevitt has planned for this young man.
