is on the very short list of top prospects in this class that we knew about as freshmen. During his freshman year, Alexander was considered one of the better overall prospects in this class and nothing changed over the next three seasons. Alexander has consistently been one of the top overall prospects and the top guy at the tight end position. Alexander is headed to Iowa State and there’s some recent history that says an Oklahoma tight end can succeed up there. Alexander has a very impressive skillset and should have a strong career in Ames.

has been one of the top prospects in the state’s 2024 class for a while now. Alexander is one half of a two-headed monster at tight end for Washington that has been nearly impossible to slow down this season. Alexander leads the team in receiving touchdowns with eight on the season. Alexander is also second on the team in receptions and yards and has been an extension of the offensive line for a while now. Alexander is incredibly productive from the tight end position and is just as dangerous as a blocker as he is going out as a receiver. We’re looking forward to what he does Saturday.

is the only tight end on this breakdown but he’s been considered one of the top overall prospects in the state’s 2024 class for about three years now. And during that same timeframe, it’s hard to argue anyone other than Alexander has been the top prospect at his position. For those that aren’t familiar with Alexander, he is the son of former OU and NFL tight end Stephen Alexander. The Iowa State commit helped lead the Warriors to a state championship a season ago and he’s back at it again this season. Alexander is the complete package at the position. He is just as valuable to Washington as an extension of the offensive line as he is as a pass catcher. As he goes to the next level, he is going to be incredibly prepared to make an impact early on in his college career. But first, he wants another state championship.

and he is one of the more experienced players on the team. Alexander has continued to get better and better every time he’s stepped out on the field. In fact, he might have been the good luck charm for the Warriors as he moved to Washington from Norman and he gave the Warriors a boost. And the combination of Alexander with 2025 tight end

(more on him in just a bit) gives Washington one of the best tight end duos in the country. And that’s such a hard thing to compare when you’re talking about high school football. But we don’t think it’s a big leap to say there aren’t many other high school programs that have two top tight end prospects.

Washington might be the high school version of TEU right now when you consider the tight ends they have within their program. They have one of the top overall prospects in the state’s 2025 class at the position and then 2024

is one of the best at his position as well. Alexander has been a name we’ve watched since his freshman season with Norman. He enjoyed a breakout season and made the transition look incredibly easy as he moved to Washington. And all the Warriors did last season was enjoy a perfect season, capped off with a state championship. Earlier this month, Alexander announced his commitment to Iowa State, which certainly has experience with Oklahoma tight ends. Alexander is similar to Ford where he can absolutely mow opponents down in the run game and is a very physical player. But he also has quick feet and can get out and run routes as well. We think we could see more of that from them this fall.

, who recently saw his recruitment take off with at least three offers in the last few weeks. Alexander is the son of former OU and NFL tight end Stephen Alexander. And Cooper had a solid junior season as he was part of a state championship team at Washington. But he was only scratching the surface on what he can do on the field with the Warriors last year and that’s scary when you consider who he’s teamed up with. Alexander is part of a truly special tight end duo at Washington with 2025 prospect

establishing himself as one of the best tight end prospects in the country. The two of them alone are going to have a lot of college coaches flocking to campus in the next few months. Alexander has to be considered a block-first tight end at this point but that book isn’t finished quite yet.

and we’ve just been waiting for him to get clear from an injury and get on the field. First, yes, he is the son of former OU and NFL tight end Stephen Alexander, so the DNA is there. Then he moved from Norman to Washington and is now teammates with another top tight end in 2025 TE

, who was offered by OU earlier this month. Washington is currently the #1 team in Class 2A and it’s easy to see why as they have arguably the two best tight ends in the state, regardless of class. They have plenty of other standouts as well, but watching Alexander and Roberts play together within the Washington offense is going to be a fun thing to watch as they look to make another run to Edmond.
