He has a good frame and moves well in space, showing the ability to use his body effectively when attacking the football. Does a nice job shielding defenders to secure catches and consistently wins in traffic with strong, reliable hands. Likes to mix it up with defenders in blocking, adding value beyond the passing game. Shows he has an understanding of spacing and route concepts, finding open windows and putting himself in position to be a dependable target. Continued development in getting in and out of his breaks quicker will elevate his separation ability even more.

Junior Jefferson Hodge Jefferson Hodge 6'0" | 165 lbs | WR/ATH Mount St. Mary | 2027 State OK is making the move from quarterback to wide receiver and we are really looking forward to see how that looks within the Rocket offense. Hodge was solid last fall but the Rockets got a new addition at QB and Hodge can be valuable as an overall playmaker at wide receiver. We got the first glance of what that could look like this spring and he definitely passed the eye test there. Now, this is something that we’ve seen in the past where a QB moves to WR and actually becomes the top target or close to it that season. It wouldn’t surprise us if that’s what Hodge did this season.
