CJ Cowley CJ Cowley 5'8" | 150 lbs | RB Hoover | 2027 State AL is a dominant RB out of Hoover who’s coming in as our #1 RB and #10 overall player in the state.

Cowley is explosive with the ball in his hands – he can create massive plays out of the backfield as both a rusher and receiver, who constantly finds ways to move the chains/get into the end zone.

Cowley is highly athletic and plays with a ton of speed and twitch- he generates so much speed in the open field, has terrific change of direction, and can easily make defenders miss, leading to massive plays on the ground. Cowley is just as productive as a pass catcher- he has reliable hands and consistently hauls in receptions/creates tons after the catch.“

Cowley ended his sophomore year with 121 carries for 769 yards and 10 TDs on the ground and 20 receptions for 239 yards and 5 TDs through the air.
