The top uncommitted ATH is Waukesha South’s Chris Flowers Chris Flowers 6'0" | 175 lbs | DB Waukesha South | 2024 State WI . Flowers stands out most at CB. That is where his quick twitch reactive athleticism jumps off the tape. The senior is able to change direction and accelerate quickly in man coverage. We also see him make plays in zone coverage with those skills. Chris can also play physical against bigger receivers, jockey for position, and make plays on the ball. On offense, Chris is a deep threat. He east up cushion, stacks DBs, and easily runs under passes. Check out the tape. Flowers can be an impact player at the next level.

It doesn’t matter if it is offense or defense, teams should want the 6′ 175 lbs senior out of Waukesha South on their rosters somewhere. He has the speed in the open field to turn any touch, INT, or catch into a game changing play. It also allows him to pursue and make plays all over the field on defense. Chris seems to be one of those athletes who are a little more developed at this point in their careers. He has very good balance and body control, is efficient in all his movements, and has a confidence that comes from trusting your abilities. Flowers has had a great offseason showing his athleticism and development, earning a PWO from the Minnesota Golden Gophers among other scholarship offers. Don’t miss out on this kid.

Rankings Jump: 136 SpotsrnOne of the biggest risers this summer update was the Waukesha South athlete Chris Flowers Chris Flowers 6'0" | 175 lbs | DB Waukesha South | 2024 State WI . The 6′ 175 lbs athlete does his damage on both sides of the ball for Waukesha South, but his best football comes out when he lines up at DB. Chris is blessed with very quick feet and loose hips that allow him to turn and run out of his backpedal or break with receivers in man coverage. Flowers’ balance pairs with his feet to give him the ability to change direction at top speed, start-stop on a dime, and stay in his receiver’s pocket in man coverage. The long athlete also has the speed to play at a high level of college football, but his short area quickness and burst is what really sets him apart. Flowers holds a PWO offer from the Gophers, an FCS offer, and multiple D2-D3 offers.

Chris has had a great camp cycle, earning multiple offers from the D2 level. I believe he carries that success over into the season. Flowers is a two way player, and the Blackshirts are going to need him to excel on both sides of the ball for them to have consistent success. He was the leading receiver in 2022 and is a CB you can trust on your opponent’s WR1. I believe he will be up to the challenge and should have one of the more impressive two way stat lines that we see this fall. Keep an eye on the DB/WR this fall as he leads Waukesha South on the field.
