The loaded Class of 2024 has seen a lot of commitments throughout the season, and early into the offseason. We have also see a couple big time athletes de-commit from programs. With all the announcements and changes it can be hard to follow who is still available. That is what we are focusing on today. We are going to go through the rankings and see who is still available, and what they have to offer the next level. These are big time prospects that have the talent to make an impact at the next level.
The top uncommitted talent in Wisconsin is Hortonville’s dominant LB Miles Sillas Miles Sillas 6’4″ | 240 lbs | LB Hortonville | 2024 State WI . Miles checks off a ton of boxes that you look for in an FBS prospect. His 6’4″ 240 lbs frame is elite for the position. It is packed with power that he uses to stack and shed OL. Miles is a stout inside run defender. He also brings the athleticism to be able to roam from sideline to sideline and chase down the outside run The senior has the instincts for the position as well. He is quick to diagnose plays and reacts just as fast. Sillas holds a couple FBS offers currently. Check out his film.

Matthew recently de-committed from Syracuse, putting him back on the market as one of the best available athletes in the state. Stenbroten is a massive, athletic LB prospect. The long athlete is a nightmare matchup on the edge. He has the speed to be able to burst around the edge. His length and strength allow him to create separation from OTs. The senior is very athletic as well. He shows the range to be able to play off the ball and be an effective blitzer. Matthew is even a difference maker at TE/WR because of his athleticism. He also offers position versatility at MLB and OLB. Matthew looks and plays the part of an FBS LB. The film is below.
We wrap up our Top 3 with another LB. The position group is absolutely stacked with FBS talent. Among them is the Appleton North difference maker, Brock Arndt Brock Arndt 6’3″ | 235 lbs | LB Appleton North | 2024 State WI . Arndt shines from the ILB position. He excels in the mental side of the game. Brock quickly diagnoses plays, flows with the OL, and puts himself in position to make plays. Brock does a great job playing in the box. He can move through the front seven without getting blocked. The strength to disengage is there when he does meet an OL. His tackling ends plays and forward momentum. Arndt has a next level burst when closing on the ball. You can trust him to QB the defense, and play all three downs. Check out the great tape below.
One of the biggest steals in the state is Marquette’s DB Patrick O’Brien Patrick O’Brien 6’3″ | 190 lbs | DB Milwaukee Marquette | 2024 State WI . He has elite length and strength for the CB position. Patrick has experience in the slot and out on the boundary. The senior has the speed to run deep with receivers in man coverage. He can change direction out of his backpedal efficiently. His awareness in zone coverage is perfect for the next level and led to him making a lot of tackles on short passes and jumping routes for INTs. I have mentioned it a few times, but I truly believe Patrick has a high ceiling as a safety prospect. He can step up and play as a CB when needed, but his play in zone coverage, his range, and his tackling plus the big frame scream starting safety. Check this steal out.

Thomas has seen a big upswing in his recruitment recently, earning a couple Power PWO offers. It was only a matter of time for the 6’1″ 185 lbs safety. Thomas has a lot of natural gifts to mold at the safety position. His awareness and ability to read the QB jump off the tape. His burst, speed, and agility allow him to get in position to make plays on the ball after making his read. He has the ball skills to create turnovers. Thomas also can be counted on to impact the run defense. There is no hesitation from him when he reads run and flies downhill. No more sleeping on the talented safety.
Steven is another athlete who has recently de-committed from an FBS program. I am a big fan of the Menomonee Falls lineman. Most impressive, Steven has next level talent on both sides of the ball. You see many of his traits dominate on both sides of the ball. Like his strength to collapse the pocket from the DT position, and then create a secure pocket with his stout anchor at center. The senior is an athletic big man who can shoot through gaps, play in space, and bend or dip to get skinny through gaps. On offense, Scott is a power run blocker who can remove his IDL from gaps and push them into level two. Steven quickly earned an offer from Illinois after his de-commitment announcement. The film is below.

Next up, we stay in Menomonee Falls for another massive steal of a prospect. LT Nino Baier Nino Baier 6’3″ | 310 lbs | OL Menomonee Falls | 2024 State WI just gets better and better when I watch him. The massive prospect has devastatingly heavy hands that deliver a huge initial punch and can easily control DL when he locks onto them. Nino has the range to get up to the second level, and has a nice burst out of his stance that he quickly turns into power when engaging with level one. The 6’4″ 310 lbs senior also has the lateral agility to put himself in position to wall off DL and provide a secure lane to his RB. Give the kid a look.
The top uncommitted ATH is Waukesha South’s Chris Flowers Chris Flowers 6’0″ | 175 lbs | DB Waukesha South | 2024 State WI . Flowers stands out most at CB. That is where his quick twitch reactive athleticism jumps off the tape. The senior is able to change direction and accelerate quickly in man coverage. We also see him make plays in zone coverage with those skills. Chris can also play physical against bigger receivers, jockey for position, and make plays on the ball. On offense, Chris is a deep threat. He east up cushion, stacks DBs, and easily runs under passes. Check out the tape. Flowers can be an impact player at the next level.
Arguably the top uncommitted DL in WI comes out of Franklin HS. Jace is an experienced, talented, 6’3″ 270 lbs DT. The big man can win in a variety of ways in the trenches. He can use speed and bend to slip through gaps. He has active, strong hands to keep himself clean and to disengage with OL. Miller is also able to transition speed to power with his quick first step. The senior DL is also athletic in space, chasing down QBs outside the pocket. Jace is a high motor DT to know. Film is below.
