The 6’4″ 245 lbs LB looked every bit of that measurement. He towered over his teammates and opponents on the field. His elite frame is blessed with the range and power needed to play FBS football. Miles was a major factor in completely shutting down the middle of the field and the WDP run game. So much so, that West De Pere finished with -14 rushing yards. That isn’t a typo. Negative 14 rushing yards. Sillas was able to shed blocks easily with his length and power. His feet were quick and he was able to slip through the trash in the front seven surprisingly easily. He found the ball and got to it instantly. Sillas looked the part of the top uncommitted prospect in WI.

The Hortonville product is a special one at the LB/TE positions. He has great size for either position at 6’4″ 240 lbs. The big athlete carries his weight very well, and is still able to maintain his athleticism. On defense, Miles is able to roam the entire width of the field while chasing down tackles. He is able to easily move with the flow of the play, attack downhill, and fly through gaps to meet ball carriers. Sillas is a reliable, hard hitting tackler too. The instincts jump off the tape too. He quickly processes what he sees, and reacts. You don’t see wasted steps or movement on his way to the ball. He looks like a three down ILB at the D1 level. On offense, Miles’ size and speed are nightmarish to match up with for DBs and LBs. He has soft hands and is a beast to tackle. Get ready fro a big senior campaign from the standout athlete.

#25 Up to #5rnWhat a rise it has been for the Hortonville product. His most recent move saw him go up 20 spots into the Top 5 and take over the LB1 position. The rise has been special to watch. Sillas has grown into an LB with an FBS level frame at 6’4″ 230 lbs. There is also FBS level attributes. Attributes that multiple FBS teams have extended offers over. The big man has exceptional timing in his blitzes. His blitzes are made more dangerous thanks to range to close on the ball, and the power to run through OL on the way to the QB. Despite his massive frame, Miles is very good at picking his way through the trash and avoiding blocks on his way to making stops against the run. Sillas’ instincts for the position jump out as well. He reads the flow of the OL and diagnoses plays so quickly. The new LB1 is going to put on a show this fall.
