. Steven has a frame that is ready to fill out in a college weight room. The big man is athletic, agile, and heavy handed. On offense, Steven is able to quickly get himself in position to wall off his man. His nimble feet then are able to drive his man off the line. On defense, Scott III has the ability to bull rush and wreck havoc. The heavy hands again come in use to force separation from the OL where he can then burst past them. Check out the tape of the talented senior.

Steven is another athlete who has recently de-committed from an FBS program. I am a big fan of the Menomonee Falls lineman. Most impressive, Steven has next level talent on both sides of the ball. You see many of his traits dominate on both sides of the ball. Like his strength to collapse the pocket from the DT position, and then create a secure pocket with his stout anchor at center. The senior is an athletic big man who can shoot through gaps, play in space, and bend or dip to get skinny through gaps. On offense, Scott is a power run blocker who can remove his IDL from gaps and push them into level two. Steven quickly earned an offer from Illinois after his de-commitment announcement. The film is below.

We currently have Steven ranked as a DL, but that will be switching to OL after watching his junior season highlights. The OL side of the ball is where I am blown away by his game. It is also where I think he will earn a D1 offer in the near future. The 6’5 “260 lbs center has an elite frame to continue to fill out. It looks perfectly molded for the D1 level. Steven has special reactive athleticism for the IOL. He is able to mirror and match the movements of interior defensive linemen. His light feet and natural movement skills allow him to establish and sustain body position vs defenders. Scott III is also very tough at center. He attacks defenders in the run game. He finishes every block he can. In the run game, Steven is great at generating movement. This is the #1 IOL without a D1 offer in WI.

Stats: 7 Tackles, 3 QB HurriesrnSteven is one of the state’s top interior defensive linemen. The 6’6″ 260 lbs DT has elite length and overall frame. The big man lines up all across the line for Menomonee Falls, and has impressive strength, body control, and lateral agility. That combination allows him to disengage with blockers quickly, and it allows him to be able to corral shifty ball carriers in the backfield. Steven does a great job of playing with leverage. He gets underneath linemen, stands them up, and uses his heavy hands to control them. Coming into the season I had high hopes for his potential. We are starting to see that potential come to fruition.
