. Koch has a well balanced game to go along with his well put together 6′ 185 lbs frame that caught the eyes of the St. Thomas staff. Joseph proved he could handle a large workload and the physical side of the position. He repeatedly ran through tackle attempts thanks to his high quality contact balance and body control. In the open field he showed off the second gear to pull away from the defense. His vision between the tackles stood out over and over on tape too. Koch was quick to find alleys, or seams to accelerate through. I’m excite for what he could do at the next level.

Stats: 20 Carries, 255 Yards, 3 TDsrnOne of the top uncommitted ball carriers in the senior class put together a dominant performance. Joseph sits at #2 for rushing yards in the state after he ran all over a Slinger defense to the tune of 12 yards per carry. Koch has an impressive blend of vision, balance, and footwork. A combination that allowed him to weave through the trenches and front seven at top speed. The 6′ 185 lbs senior demonstrated effective elusiveness with his jump cut. Finally, it is clear that Joseph sees the field very well. He quickly found holes, and would attack those openings without hesitation. Joseph holds a pair of D2 offers currently. He needs more eyes on him.

Stats: 22 Carries, 230 Yards, 3 TDsrnAnother junior on this list with plenty of varsity experience is the 6′ 180 lbs RB out of Menomonee Falls. Joseph attacks the lien of scrimmage when he gets the hand off. There is no hesitation to his game. He trust that the hole will be there, and has the necessary power to get himself through it if its not fully opened up. Koch is primarily a north- south runner who has the contact balance and body control to take the hits, and stay on his path. It was a battle to bring him down in every play of his highlights. When needed we did get to see some lateral movement, but power and aggressive downhill play is his go to. Great showing this week.
