His older brother Mason has been one of the top 2026 prospects in the state for the majority of his high school career. And Brody has a chance to follow that path over the next three seasons. We have James listed right now as an edge defender and tight end and there’s no doubt that his brother was a star on the offensive side of the ball. But after checking out Brody’s film from his freshman season, we think that he could be a dude on the defensive side of the ball. He plays the game with a physicality at the edge or linebacker position that you don’t see from freshmen very often. The athleticism is clearly there and he produced at a very impressive mark against a solid competition during his freshman year.
