Fox was named one of the top players on defense in the Class 3A South region last season. Harris showed solid zone coverage skills in his defensive highlights from last season. He’s decisive when he breaks on the ball. One of those plays that highlight his ability to break on the ball is one where he makes a pick-six. Harris also stays in phase with receives downfield whenever one tries to attack his zone deep. Harris also does a good job of playing through the receiver’s hands to force incompletions.

is a player with elite potential and was a top 5-10 player in his class before a preseason injury knocked him out for his sophomore campaign. I’m expecting Avry to come back even better than before as he should be one of the top returning weapons in 2024. He possesses next-level speed that can stretch defenses vertically and is among the best route runners in the state. Avry hauled in 32 receptions for 449 yards and scored 10 total touchdowns as a freshman. Watch out for Avry to make a MAJOR comeback!!

Avry had a statement season during his freshman campaign. Although, I don’t have official stats I do know that the Benson freshman scored double-digit touchdowns. Harris was a scoring threat whenever he touched the ball, whether he was at receiver or returning kicks. One thing that I noted about Avry was that he is very good in the open field and has the speed to burn defenses. His vision and hands are also at a high-level. Along with fellow freshman
