Coleman was named one of the top players on defense in the Class 3A South region last season. On offense, he caught 21 passes for 360 yards. He has the straight line speed to match-up with receivers downfield. I love the way he maintains balance when planting and driving on the football. Coleman can play receiver, but I think he can make a bigger splash at cornerback at the next level.

Coleman was easily one of the top standout players over the weekend on both sides of the ball. No surprise he was rated #9 top skill performer on the weekend in Vic’s Top 40 list. He made big time catch after big time catch for AA Elite. Jonathan showed great body control and hands going up and moss’ing defenders and making tough catches. That crossed over to the defensive side as well showing anticipation and ball skills to break on pass, go get it, and make a clean sideline interception. Jonathan plays with quick feet and nice twitch, able to get himself open, and has excellent ball tracking abilities and plays bigger than his size. A playmaker in all 3 phases of the game, expect Jonathan to have an even bigger role for Arundel this fall and put up some big numbers.
