About Amir

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Explosive and physical athlete who plays with confidence, and aggression. I make plays wherever I line up.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I’m driven, coachable, and competitive. I take criticism seriously and use it to improve my game.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Black Student Union

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I’ve developed leadership, teamwork, and discipline through football, school activities, and regular community service. I volunteer with United Way, church outreach programs, and community events, helping with food distributions, cleanups, and fundraisers. These experiences have helped me become a strong teammate and responsible leader on and off the field.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I faced challenges my freshman year with little playing time while also dealing with the loss of two grandparents. Those experiences pushed me to work harder and stay focused. By my sophomore year, I earned a starting role on both sides of the ball and contributed at quarterback. That adversity helped build my mental toughness and determination.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a college where I can compete at a high level in football while also getting a strong education. I want a program that feels like family, pushes me to improve, and helps me grow both on and off the field.
