Really impressed me against Romeo. All-around aggressive, hard-nosed tackle (will likely play guard in college)
6’2″ at the minimum. Built very well. Looks like a college OG.
Joey is really aggressive in the run game. Leans a bit, but usually delivers on his punch and is able to drive his defender backwards on down blocks, and he reached blocked with a ton of success. Still, he has a great center of gravity and was able to recover well.
Punch is powerful, but he does tend to lean and get a little off balance, and his punches aren’t always accurate. Still, a great center of gravity and is able to recover well. Finally, Joey is a competitive player. I liked his leadership and think he can be even more vocal next season.

Joey was one of my most prominent offensive line standouts of the season. Then, I realized I ranked him #206 overall last update.
The effort stood out to me in a huge way. He was never afraid to get up in a defender’s face and drive him several yards backwards. Joey consistently blocked through the whistle and showed good leadership at times, too. There are some things to clean up when it comes to footwork and punch. Though I think there’s a ton to love about Joey’s game, and I’d be surprised if colleges didn’t like him this offseason.
