Grand Blanc has been putting out some solid talent in the trenches, and Mario is looking like he could be the best of the bunch before it’s all over. Looking his best as an IOL, Williams is a strong body that can anchor an offensive line, especially in the run game. He fires off quick and low, and keeps his legs churning. He loves to finish blocks off at the whistle and stacking the pancakes. He moves well, and is able to get out to the 2nd level and block in space when called upon. Heading into his sophomore year, Mario is on an impressive trajectory!

Mario is a new player on my list who I am glad I’ve had the chance to evaluate. The sophomore center has a natural low center of gravity which helps him gain leverage very quickly against attacking D lineman. He has very solid build that packs a really big punch upon contact. After contact he is able to use his strength and technique to turn and take defenders where he wants to. He does a great job of getting his snap off and striking his hands up to defenders to stimy a rush. Williams Jr looks to have exceptional movement, when evaluating his film, I saw the ability to climb to the next level of defenders as well as pull from the center position (which is extremely hard to do and very impressive for a freshman).
