Anquan was a kid I spent a lot of time watching on film. He is a downhill linebacker that showed a good ability to read a play and attack the ball carrier. Friday night was the first time I was able to see him in person. He does an excellent job covering his zone and taking angles to make it hard for a quarterback to make a clean throw. Anquan got his hand on multiple balls through out the night and also had an excellent read that lead to an interception by the impressive Bobcat linebacker. I suspect Anquan will not be under the radar for long and see a big year coming from the soon to be junior linebacker. For sure a player who raised there stock on Friday in holland.

Anquan had a handful of promising moments as an off-ball outside linebacker. Generally, he’s able to read the field and make tackles, but he’s a tad too late to react. The first minute of his tape is full of decent tackles, but almost every one of those plays could have been TFLs if Anquan played quicker. 2:28 showcases Anquan’s skillset pretty well. I really like his initial read, and he does a great job getting outside to his spot. Though, he could have been a tad more aggressive when engaging with the WR, and could have cut inside for the tackle a second earlier.
