South Charleston has a pair of promising 2029 receivers that they’ve utilized this season, and Amari Valentine Amari Valentine 5'11" | WR South Charleston | 2029 State WV is a name you’ll want to know. He made an immediate impact this season for the Black Eagles in game one, catching the game-winning Hail Mary in the final seconds. Valentine has totaled 12 catches for 109 yards and 2 touchdowns this season and has done a nice job as a defensive back, as the third-leading tackler with 19 stops. We’ll learn more about his game as he produces more film and gets increased touches, but the early signs show that Valentine will be a name to know in the 2029 class.

Valentine was on the receiving end of the Hail Mary catch in the final second of the Black Eagles’ win over Ripley. He made a heady play to pick the ball off a Ripley defender’s body in the end zone to secure the catch and the win for South Charleston. Valentine will be a young player to keep an eye on this season and beyond for the Black Eagles.
