Since he’s behind stud running back Jaden Lawrence Jaden Lawrence 6'0" | 185 lbs | RB Legend | 2025 State CO , there isn’t a spotlight on him. However the way he plays says different. Martinez is a physical bruising type of back. He’s an angry runner with a chip on his shoulder. He’s got good acceleration and vision to find/utilize holes to punish the defense. He’s got good footspeed and change of direction to make defenders miss. Martinez will put his shoulder down to create extra yardage. His awareness really stands out to me. In the game vs Legacy, there was a lateral throw. He hustled and chased after the fumble. A great player who’s flying under the radar.
