Dylan Karsteter
Dylan Karsteter
Karsteter is an intriguing WR for the Ponderosa Mustangs. At 6’2″ 170 lbs, he boasts a prototypical size for a wide receiver. Thru 7 games, he accounted for 31 receptions for 438 yards and 4 touchdowns. He put up a great game in Week 5 against for Palmer Ridge (9 receptions for 90 yards). Dylan Karsteter has good quickness & footspeed to create separation. He has solid change of direction. He’s got good ball tracking skills & concentrates downfield. He’s got a natural fluid catching motion. Plucks the ball out of the air. He’s able to adjust above, below and behind to overthrown balls. Will come down with the catch in contested situations. One aspect of his game that stood out to me, was his ability to keep 2 feet in bounds on the sideline. Looking forward to seeing more of what he can do throughout the season.
Sawchuk looks like an NFL running back. This dude has it. He has sown to be a consistent playmaker throughout his time at Valor. Through 7 games, he has run the ball on 109 carries for 434 yards and 7 touchdowns. In the passing game, he has 16 receptions for 193 yards and 1 touchdown. Sawchuk demonstrates many qualities that will translate to the next level. He displays good vision behind the O-Line and finds holes easily. He uses his good footspeed and acceleration to achieve home run speed. He is able to out maneuver defenders with his great change of direction. Makes it look like he’s gliding around the field. He’s a physical back who isn’t afraid to get his hands dirty. He sheds tackles with ease. He’s a natural catcher, and is solid in pass blocking with room to grow. He hasn’t committed to a school yet. However, whoever gets him will be getting a stud running back that can help take their team to the next level.
Martinez has put up a great season for the Titans. Running the ball on 94 carries for 508 yards and 6 touchdowns. In the passing game, he has 9 receptions for 124 yards with 1 touchdown. Since he’s behind stud running back Jaden Lawrence Jaden Lawrence 6’0″ | 185 lbs | RB Legend | 2025 State CO , there isn’t a spotlight on him. However the way he plays says different. Martinez is a physical bruising type of back. He’s an angry runner with a chip on his shoulder. He’s got good acceleration and vision to find/utilize holes to punish the defense. He’s got good footspeed and change of direction to make defenders miss. Martinez will put his shoulder down to create extra yardage. His awareness really stands out to me. In the game vs Legacy, there was a lateral throw. He hustled and chased after the fumble. A great player who’s flying under the radar.
Highlights
Spence has shown to be a major playmaker in the Valor offense alongside Gabe Sawchuk Gabe Sawchuk 5’10” | 165 lbs | RB Valor Christian | 2024 State CO . He showcases many qualities that can easily transfer to the next level. Through 7 games, he has accounted for 29 receptions for 315 yard and 3 touchdowns. In the rushing game, he has 27 carries for 132 yards and 1 touchdown. Spence has a good release in tandem with good acceleration to get off the line of scrimmage and attack the defense. He fights through the press jam to get open. He uses his good footspeed, change of direction, and mental processing to create separation. He finds a void in the zone and will exploit it. He has good ball tracking and concentration which allows him to make catches either stationary or in traffic. Natural catching movement and will pluck the ball out of the air. He’s good at adjusting and controlling his body. Adjusts to keeping two feet in bound for a touchdown. In the QB scramble drill, he comes back to help the QB. Promising wide receiver that has a lot to showcase.

Michael Marsenich
Michael Marsenich
Over the course of the season, Marsenich has thrown for 961 yards with a completion percentage of 57.4% and 8 touchdowns to 1 interception. Marsenich displays qualities that can propel him into the future. First thing that catches my eye is his ability to make plays outside the pocket. If the pocket collapses, he’s able to use his athleticism and move out of the pocket. Either running for a 1st down, or throwing a dart on the run, once he’s outside of the pocket, defenses need to watch out. In the pocket, he’s shown to be poised and doesn’t force the ball. He’s got a good deep ball accuracy. He’s got a solid release, and is good at fooling the defense with the play action.
