Lawrence had a nice outing on Friday. Measuring in at 6’0 185-pounds. The senior had 12 carries for 80 yards and 1 touchdown. Lawrence has very good athletic ability due to elite acceleration, very good speed, very good change of direction, and balance. Lawrence uses his very good vision to identify which holes to run through. Lawrence uses very good dynamic cuts to juke out defenders. He will go the complete opposite direction and make it look seamless. One play that stood out to me was when he turned a would be TFL into 2 yards. Shows his athleticism and competitive toughness, on not giving up. He was a perfect compliment to Banks’s big performance, giving the defense a mix of thunder and lightning.

Lawrence is another well-rounded running back who had an outstanding junior season as a rusher and a receiver. His ability to read the field and create cutback lanes is outstanding, and his speed is next-level. He is the ideal candidate for a program in need of a change of pace back to contribute early. Lawrence is a player who made his way onto the radar early in his career, making him one to scout immediately.

Lawrence was an elusive back throughout the season and kept that going throughout the playoffs. He was able to make things happen in the open field and also use his speed to break away. He has good vision and can follow his blocks bursting through the hole. He is able to be physical and break through arm tackles at times as well. He was one of the top back in 5A this season and will look to continue that momentum, being at the top again next season.

Saying Lawrence is a baller is an understatement. Kid’s a dominator on the field. Lawrence had a total of 232 yards (198 rushing, 34 receiving) and 2 touchdowns. Jaden was electric anytime he touched the ball. Demonstrated great vision to identify and run through gaps. He has very good speed and acceleration allowing him to achieve home run speed. Shifty back who exhibits very good change of direction. Multiple times he’d break off for a big gain with 80 yards being the longest. He’s not afraid of contact and sheds tackles with ease. Great catcher, and makes it look easy. Dude’s a game changing back, and can change momentum instantly. Sky’s the limit for him, and I’m ecstatic to see what he can do in the remaining playoff games.

Lawrence is a player to keep an eye on as he is explosive and has the ability to take it to another gear in the open space. He shows good vision and follows his blocks well being able to gain chunk yardage. He is also able to catch the ball out of the backfield making him even more dangerous. Will be someone that should make a big impact on this game.

Lawrence dominated against Ponderosa. Racking up 164 yards on 23 carries with 1 TD to help his team secure a win against their hometown rival Ponderosa. He displayed good burst and vision behind the O-Line. Lawrence uses his good footspeed and quickness to achieve home run speed. In open space, he’s gone. Slippery with change of direction, and will gain extra yardage from being physical or juking out the defender.
