Basso is a physical perimeter blocker who has the tools to make a significant impact for his offense this season. He does an excellent job setting the edge and creating running lanes, giving his backs room to attack the defense. Basso brings a physical mentality to the running game and is capable of driving defenders into the ground when he gets leverage. His ability to finish blocks adds another dimension to his game. In pass protection, Basso shows the quick feet needed to kick slide and stay square against quicker edge rushers. His combination of strength, footwork and physicality makes him an intriguing 2028 prospect to monitor as he looks to elevate his stock.
