Jobe was heavily called on Friday as Warren Central was committed to shutting down Frye and the passing game. While that worked to a degree, they struggled with Jobe. He’s a physical runner who is hard to bring down. He plays with power and a good center of gravity. His 24 carries for 133 yards and 2 TDs led the way for the Bulldogs and helped pave their path to state.

Jobe has caught fire at the right time and has been huge for Brownsburg in the stretch. He posted his first 200-yard game of the year on Friday against Avon. He ran hard, fought for every inch when needed, and then busted a long of 72 yards. I appreciate how he runs hard and protects the ball. He’s good in pass pro when needed as well, which always helps. His 211 yards and 2 TDs on the night were key and a big reason they pulled away.

Jobe is a physical runner who has come a long way for Brownsburg. Their backfield is loaded, so they can rotate weeks, and this week was Jobe’s. He carried the ball 19 times for 195 yards and 3 TDs, and then took a screen pass 81 yards to the house. He had 328 scrimmage yards on the night and looked as good as ever.
