‘s recruiting is primarily the same as it has been all winter/early spring: on the rise. College coaches could be seeing Sharpe as arguably the top receiver in the state, the one who has risen up the fastest. Maryland and Virginia offered this month, and he has official visits scheduled for Purdue in June and Indiana in late May.

could be the best in the state. He is a very good route runner, dangerous after the catch, and continues to put up ridiculous numbers year after year. He had an outstanding state championship game against Westfield and the Shamrocks had no answers for him. After capturing a second-straight state title for Brownsburg in 2025, the Bulldogs are primed to three-peat in 2026.

made a strong case at the Indiana State championships for being a legit top-five prospect in Indiana. The dynamic receiver has it all: the route-running skills, ability after the catch, and juice to go the distance with the ball in his hands. He picked up an offer from Oregon State this week, and his recruiting will only continue to grow. Sharpe will be a key returner on a talented Brownsburg squad looking to three-peat in 2026.

is making a very strong case for deserving more offers, and I expect that to change for the better when the NCAA winter contact period starts off shortly. He and Frye went off in the state championship game, putting together a record performance. There may not be a player in the state who made bigger strides from his sophomore to junior season than Sharpe, who looks primed for an even-bigger senior year.

The speedy receiver has made a living on getting behind defenses and torching them for 6. He’s in and out of his breaks quickly with the ability to change direction on a dime. He currently has offers from IU, Cincinnati, and Iowa State.

is not ranked on public recruiting websites as highly as he should be. Sharpe has proven to be an extremely dynamic playmaker. The 5-foot-11, 170-pound receiver had a huge state championship game on a Brownsburg squad that rarely loses. Sharpe is very good after-the-catch where his speed and burst are elite.

Brandon Sharpe, the starting wideout for Brownsburg, had a whale of a night with more than 250 all-purpose yards en route to a decisive win over Westfield. Sharpe set a new state championship record for a kickoff return: his shiftiness, change-of-direction, and ability to make defenders miss was on full display. Sharpe is a very good route runner who creates separation and is very crafty after-the-catch, with excellent vision and an uncanny ability to pick and choose where to go in space. He holds a bunch of offers, but after the state championship game, I’d be shocked if more teams aren’t calling for his services.

Sharpe was arguably unguardable last night, and the chemistry he and Frye have on the field is fun to watch. Sharpe scored the first and last touchdowns of the night, including the 80-yard touchdown that felt like the final nail in the coffin with 11 minutes left in the third quarter. He finished with 8 catches for 237 yards.

Sharpe had a big night: 7 catches for 159 yards and two touchdowns. The Hoosier State has a very good wideout on Indianapolis’ east side, but might Sharpe be even better? Sharpe has no star rating by most recruiting sites, but he’s starting to position himself as a legit Power 4 recruit when college coaches hit the road this winter.

Sharpe is arguably the best receiver in the state of Indiana. With his speed, downfield burst, strong hands, and ability to make acrobatic catches look easy, he is a valuable returning starter on a Brownsburg squad that captured a state championship and is looking to defend their title. He had 1,165 yards and seven touchdowns last season.
