We continue to think very highly of Sharpe, who is committed to Indiana. The way he took over last year’s state championship game was remarkable. Dynamic as a receiver and kick returner, Sharpe has rare speed, vision, burst and is elite after the catch. He totaled 1,143 yards and 15 total touchdowns last year as Oscar Frye’s top target.

An obvious top receiver in the state who looks primed for a big senior year. Indiana commit has some juice and can be a crafty route runner who can create on his own and completely take over a game. Very good vision and has juice in space. Can take screens to the house, has great vision and RAC. Saw one TD that he dropped, needs to secure the ball away, but potential to be a big-time playmaker for the Hoosiers is there.

 Indiana commit is just so good with Fry at quarterback and him as the No. 1 target. Bulldogs won Colts 11-On 7v7 tournament last month.

We think Branden Sharpe Branden Sharpe 5'11" | 155 lbs | WR Brownsburg | 2027 State IN could make a strong case for being the best wide receiver in the state of Indiana. Sharpe, who committed to Indiana, is a big-time playmaker, great route runner, and has very good speed after the catch. Fry’s No. 1 target has great top-end speed. Highly-productive, he recorded 59 catches for 1,143 receiving yards and 1,386 all-purpose yards in 2025.

College coaches could be seeing Sharpe as arguably the top receiver in the state, the one who has risen up the fastest. Maryland and Virginia offered this month, and he has official visits scheduled for Purdue in June and Indiana in late May.

He is a very good route runner, dangerous after the catch, and continues to put up ridiculous numbers year after year. He had an outstanding state championship game against Westfield and the Shamrocks had no answers for him. After capturing a second-straight state title for Brownsburg in 2025, the Bulldogs are primed to three-peat in 2026.

The dynamic receiver has it all: the route-running skills, ability after the catch, and juice to go the distance with the ball in his hands. He picked up an offer from Oregon State this week, and his recruiting will only continue to grow. Sharpe will be a key returner on a talented Brownsburg squad looking to three-peat in 2026.

Branden Sharpe Branden Sharpe 5'11" | 155 lbs | WR Brownsburg | 2027 State IN is making a very strong case for deserving more offers, and I expect that to change for the better when the NCAA winter contact period starts off shortly.  He and Frye went off in the state championship game, putting together a record performance.  There may not be a player in the state who made bigger strides from his sophomore to junior season than Sharpe, who looks primed for an even-bigger senior year.

The speedy receiver has made a living on getting behind defenses and torching them for 6. He’s in and out of his breaks quickly with the ability to change direction on a dime. He currently has offers from IU, Cincinnati, and Iowa State.
