Gipson is a young two-way player who was getting varsity reps last year before an injury. On offense, he runs with good vision, finds lanes before they close, and keeps his balance through contact. He’s got enough speed to pull away in the open field and can break runs when he gets a crease. Defensively, he’s a quick-trigger linebacker who can blitz and create pressure fast. I’m interested to see what he can do with a healthy year because the flashes were there before he went down.
