Oscar Frye Oscar Frye IN gave Illinois State his verbal commitment this month. Playing for the FCS national championship runner-ups will not be easy, but Frye has the goods with his strong arm, quick trigger and winning pedigree. He totaled 2,655 yards, 29 touchdowns, and just two interceptions last season; with Brownsburg keeping most of their talent intact, the Bulldogs are on the fast track to three-peating with Frye under center.

Oscar Frye Oscar Frye IN has successfully led the Bulldogs to Lucas Oil Stadium for the past two years. Sharpe’s quarterback is very accurate, especially on the deep ball, and has a quick release and rocket arm. It is strange to me that Frye does not have more college offers given his winning pedigree, but that could change this summer during college camps. The Frye-Sharpe combination is elite and has played a huge role in Brownsburg’s sustained success.

It’s going to be tough to top Frye, the Brownsburg High School quarterback, who is now a back-to-back state champion and the Bulldogs from three-peating in 2026. Frye has a rocket arm, quick release, smooth delivery and very good deep-ball accuracy – especially when throwing to the top wideout mentioned below. He continues to trend upward in every facet of his game. We’ll be seeing Frye in-person this month during a workout.

: the Class of 2027 Brownsburg quarterback was sharp as ever, throwing with excellent accuracy on the deep ball. The back-to-back state champ has taken massive steps forward each year and this one was no different. Frye has a quick release, strong arm and great accuracy over the MOF and just keeps getting better and better. Frye has legit Power 4 talent. He holds five offers from MAC schools and Sac State, but I’d expect his recruiting to pick up considerably after such a dominant season.

has been exceptional in his second season as a starter. The 6-foot-1, 190-pound quarterback has thrown with great accuracy and has also shown that he can make plays with his legs. He is on pace to eclipse last season’s passing totals, currently sitting at 2,181 yards and 28 touchdowns. Frye loves to connect with wide receiver

was laser-sharp in the opener, throwing 15-20 for 252 yards and three touchdowns. Frye is establishing himself as one of Indiana’s most coveted recruiting prizes in the 2027 Hoosier State recruting class. Displaying a great arm with good deep-ball touch and a quick trigger, he looked very cerebral on Friday night as he led his team to victory.

First-time seeing Frye in-person. A proven winner and competitor who led Brownsburg to a state championship as a sophomore. Throws the deep ball with excellent accuracy and touch. Looks very cerebral, and throws with excellent accuracy. Quick release, throws an on-time and catchable ball, makes good decisions and reads. Scans field quickly and pulls trigger. Legit Power 4 recruit.

Frye’s development has been clear. He came into high school loaded with potential and set to start sooner rather than later. That’s been exactly the case, and he continues to get better. His frame is being filled out, and as he gets those reps, the little things improve. He’s accurate, doesn’t make poor decisions, throws a beautiful ball, and checks box after box. He left as the 2027 MVP and for good reason. He’s as steady and consistent as they come and should be on radars across the country.
