The team begins and ends with Oscar Fry, a standout quarterback committed to Illinois State who has dominated high school football over the past two years. Frye has a quick trigger, throws a great and accurate deep ball, possesses great accuracy, and wins in crunch time. It’s stunning to me that Power 4 teams didn’t offer Fry, for whatever reason. His senior year should be a great one to behold.

Frye is as polished as they come at this age and looks good every time he’s on the field. He’s got such a good release and accuracy down the field. He’s got good touch on the ball all over the field and can make every throw in the book with anticipation. He won’t put his receiver in danger and gets through his progressions quickly. He’s fun to watch and is someone I appreciate because of how disciplined he is with all the little things.

Playing for the FCS national championship runner-ups will not be easy, but Frye has the goods with his strong arm, quick trigger and winning pedigree. He totaled 2,655 yards, 29 touchdowns, and just two interceptions last season; with Brownsburg keeping most of their talent intact, the Bulldogs are on the fast track to three-peating with Frye under center.

Sharpe’s quarterback is very accurate, especially on the deep ball, and has a quick release and rocket arm. It is strange to me that Frye does not have more college offers given his winning pedigree, but that could change this summer during college camps. The Frye-Sharpe combination is elite and has played a huge role in Brownsburg’s sustained success.

It’s going to be tough to top Frye, the Brownsburg High School quarterback, who is now a back-to-back state champion and the Bulldogs from three-peating in 2026.  Frye has a rocket arm, quick release, smooth delivery and very good deep-ball accuracy – especially when throwing to the top wideout mentioned below.  He continues to trend upward in every facet of his game.  We’ll be seeing Frye in-person this month during a workout.

The hyper-efficient junior QB running one of the best programs in Indiana is coming off of his 2nd season starting, where he completed over 60% of his throws for 2505 yards and 34 total TDs while repeating as state champs.

He holds five offers from MAC schools and Sac State, but I’d expect his recruiting to pick up considerably after such a dominant season.

Frye was poised from the start. He helped lead a TD drive on their first possession of the night. He finished the evening with 3 TDs as they cruised at home. Frye was in complete control from start to finish.
