It's going to be hard for anybody to beat Brownsburg this season. The Bulldogs were just too good last year. Right from the get-go in Week One, they won decisively over a nationally-ranked Archbishop Spaulding team (36-23), went undefeated and captured their second-straight Class 6A state championship. They have just one loss over the past two years: a 30-23 loss to Hamilton Southeastern in 2024.

Last week, the Bulldogs took home the trophy in the Colts 11-On challenge over Westfield at the Indiana Farm Bureau Football Center. Is this a foreshadow of things to come?

The top Bulldogs who have all been together – and won together – since their sophomore year are back for 2026 for one final postseason run. Their chance to three-peat is high. Here's who can make it happen:

The team begins and ends with Oscar Fry, a standout quarterback committed to Illinois State who has dominated high school football over the past two years. Frye has a quick trigger, throws a great and accurate deep ball, possesses great accuracy, and wins in crunch time. It's stunning to me that Power 4 teams didn't offer Fry, for whatever reason. His senior year should be a great one to behold.

[player_tooltip player_id='1664899' first='Dami' last='Sowunmi'], Brownsburg's 2027 standout defensive end who committed to Missouri, is back for more in 2026. Last season he recorded five sacks, 35 total tackles, and one fumble recovery. The 6-foot-4, 275-pound edge has a fast first step and is a tremendous pass rusher who can wreck havoc on opposing QBs. High-motored defensive lineman with potential to excel at the next level.

[player_tooltip player_id='1866009' first='Chancelor' last='Adams'] is one of the best defensive prospects in the state. The 6-foot-3, 180-pound safety is a ballhawk with great body adjustment. Very feisty, tough, and physical in coverage who can time the ball well with his hands, Adams also has quick closing speed v. the run and has top-shelf instincts.

[player_tooltip player_id='1664902' first='Nick' last='Vecrumba'] paves the way for the Bulldogs up-front in the running game. Vecrumba has great first-step quickness and is a very good blocker in space, working to the second level and taking great angles to second-level defenders. The 6-foot-5, 290-pound Vecrumba is very physical, is quick to pull, and flashes a mean streak. We're excited to see his potential at the next level.

We think [player_tooltip player_id='1429135' first='Branden' last='Sharpe'] could make a strong case for being the best wide receiver in the state of Indiana. Sharpe, who committed to Indiana, is a big-time playmaker, great route runner, and has very good speed after the catch. Fry's No. 1 target has great top-end speed. Highly-productive, he recorded 59 catches for 1,143 receiving yards and 1,386 all-purpose yards in 2025.
