I thought Aiden was the most consistent offensive lineman in this one – the times Chambers felt pressure in the passing game came more from up the middle than around the edge of the tackle spots. Aiden did a good job protecting the blind side in this one and not allowing quick pressure to break up plays. The running game had its most success outside and off-tackle, and that speaks well to how he was blocking in the running game as well.

Aiden comes into the program after playing last season at West Charlotte, and he had a strong season overall upfront for the Lions. I saw him up close at the CFI Carolinas MEGA Showcase, and I was impressed with his overall fundamentals. Aiden is strong in pass protection, and his film shows his nastiness and strength in moving people in the run game. The offensive line for the Cougars is very important this season after losing a couple of very good players to graduation this past season.

As Dickenson moves to Chambers, he’s going to provide the Cougars with a young, experienced offensive lineman with experience at multiple positions. He was one of the top offensive linemen at the CFI Showcase, thanks to his lateral movement skills. He moves way better than you’d expect for a guy his size, and that should excite college coaches.

Aiden really impressed me with how agile and nimble he was at his size, which was verified seeing him up close in the 1 on 1 period against defensive linemen. I loved his footwork in his pass sets, and he didn’t give ground easily against some good interior linemen from his guard position. He will be an important piece of a new look Chambers offense this upcoming season.

The entire West Charlotte offensive line was impressive this season, and after another look at the film, Dickenson really impressed us. He’s not the biggest interior lineman in the state, but he has some room to add good weight. I expect that when we see him in the summer, he won’t look the same as he did at the end of last season. Still, his leg drive is excellent, and his strong, secure base allows him to anchor well as a pass blocker.

Dickenson played extensively for West Charlotte as a freshman on a young team during their state championship run, impressing us in the process. He has good pad level and a solid base, which implies he could really become a stout run blocker as he continues to add strength over the next few years.

Aiden has some good size and you can definitely see him growing into a powerful run-blocking interior presence for the Lions over the next few years. Aiden was able to get some valuable reps in their run to the state championship this past season, and Aiden does a good job of coming off the ball and being physical in the interior run game. Aiden also showed good technique in working combo blocks coming off 2nd level in the running game and fitting/driving linebackers well. I am excited to see his continued growth here in the future.
