stuffed the stat sheet with stellar play on both sides of the ball, yet Williams was as consistent as they come, providing quality two-way reps at wideout and safety. An un-offered senior, Williams looked fantastic in run support. Imani Christian coaches have no problem letting Williams roam inside the box to serve as an extra backer, a role Williams excels in. Williams can still be placed in a traditional safety alignment and hunt for ball carriers here, all while providing three-level pass-catching when split out at wideout. Again, Williams didn’t bring home an incredible stat line, yet his presence was certainly felt in this one. He left a lasting impression, hopefully, coaches will feel the same way. His stock is up.

I anticipate a significant step forward from Williams this year, both in the Flex Y position in the slot and the X on the outside some. He possesses sufficient ball skills, enabling him to secure touchdowns as a WR and interceptions on defense. I’ve observed him making several challenging receptions this summer, establishing his reliability. With a 6’3, 190 lb frame, he’s capable of boxing out smaller defenders. I’m eager to see if he’s enhanced his ability to break quickly on defense by playing at a lower pad level. Williams, a seasoned big target, is prepared to compete hard in 2023.

Here’s a new name, one that arguably has the most potential on this list. Markus Williams Markus Williams 6'3" | 190 lbs | ATH Imani Christian Academy | 2025 State PA , 6’3, 190-pound wideout out of Imani Christian Academy, places inside the top 150 and narrowly ranks outside the top 15 at his position. Broad shoulders, a wide wingspan leave him as an obvious option at the position. This is a huge “what-if” ranking. The majority of his tape comes from one game, a game where competition looks hard to come by. Still, what could become of Markus Williams Markus Williams 6'3" | 190 lbs | ATH Imani Christian Academy | 2025 State PA is a bit too exciting, we had to include him in our ranks. Deep curls, drags, slants, utilizing this big target in the middle of the field makes sense. The kid looks raw in terms of the nuances of the game, I believe he has a background in basketball if I’m not mistaken. If not, he looks like he does. There’s potential here, especially considering the talent he’s working with. Our eyes are peeled.
