- t
- probably the most eye-opening first impression on this list.
- Vandiver torched the Steelton secondary both from the pocket or out.
- Anticiplatory throws seen from the pocket, hitting nines, posts, digs, curls, slants, wheels, all on time and in rhythm.
- What separates this kid from the bunch is what he’s capable of when the offensive line can’t hold up, or when plays break down.
- Awesome in impromptu situations, can churn up yards both in designed QB keepers or when improvising on his own accord.
- Running with the football, creating for himself, this isn’t newsworthy. His ability to couple this skill with real passing skills is what leaves me excited. Will rank high.

Wow.
Is really all I have to say about Vandiver’s performance on Saturday. I’m not sure what the final stats looked like when it comes to attempts, completions, and such but whatever they are, they probably don’t do justice in how impressive he was on Saturday. What a tremendous improviser at the quarterback position, Imani Christian’s offensive line had a tough time keeping the Rollers pass rush in check at times, and Vandiver never once panicked. He extended plays, kept his eyes down field, and made good decisions throughout the game. He has a nice arm as well, the ball comes with a good zip and the accuracy was solid throughout the evening as well, throwing the ball into some quite small windows at times. There was a ton of talent on thje field but I’m not sure I was more impressed with anyone else than I was with Vandiver. All in all, it was a 386 all purpose yard performance including 267 passing yards and 119 rushing yards.

Stephen will be the new signal caller for Imani Christian this year. He’s decently athletic and can easily see over the line of scrimmage, standing at 6’1-6’2. He’s a quick decision-maker and normally has pretty good placement on his passes. Vandiver is getting better with each rep; I noticed his improvement every time I watched him in person this summer. He’s competitive and displays a good attitude as the offensive leader. If Vandiver can consistently deliver the ball to his weapons, Imani will be a tough outfit to beat this season.
