Owasso wide receiver Julius Wilson Julius Wilson 6'4" | 190 lbs | WR Owasso | 2026 State OK has been a prospect that we’ve always been intrigued by. Even going back to his breakout season at Holland Hall in 2023. He has the size and athletic ability to be an absolute game changer. Last season, he slowly got more comfortable in the Owasso offense but this season, he’s been that guy for the Rams. Even in their toughest games, Wilson has still produced at a very high level. Colleges started to take notice. Wilson was offered and he eventually committed to Oklahoma State this fall. He’s started to put everything together and with colleges coming after him, it’s clear that he’s a P4 prospect. In this update, Wilson moved up 22 spots in the overall rankings and he’s starting to flirt with being considered one of the top guys at the wide receiver position in this class.

It felt like only a matter of time before things started to click for Owasso’s Julius Wilson Julius Wilson 6'4" | 190 lbs | WR Owasso | 2026 State OK as a football prospect. Wilson established himself fairly early on in his career as one of the state’s best basketball prospects in his class. But after watching Wilson play football in person and on film during his sophomore season, it was clear to us that he was a guy that belonged among the better football prospects as well. Wilson moved from Holland Hall to Owasso and would become a big part of their passing attack from the wide receiver position. Wilson checks a lot of the boxes that college coaches are looking for. He has size, the athleticism is clearly there as a legitimate two-sport star and his hands are incredibly reliable. Wilson is still flying under the radar in a loaded position group but his recruitment is starting to take off and he moved into the Top 30 in this update.

Owasso wide receiver Julius Wilson Julius Wilson 6'4" | 190 lbs | WR Owasso | 2026 State OK joined Owasso this offseason after enjoying a breakout season at Holland Hall last fall. Wilson joined an Owasso offense that is absolutely loaded at the skill positions so he’s definitely had to earn his way onto the field as the depth chart is deep. He’s solidified himself as a starter and he’s consistently been the third wide receiver behind a senior and a junior who has been one of the bigger breakout stars. Something also to consider with Wilson is his abilities on the basketball court. He’s one of the better guards in the Tulsa area and he could end up having opportunities to play hoops at the next level. But as for football, we definitely think he’s a wide receiver prospect to watch moving forward.

Wide receiver standout Julius Wilson Julius Wilson 6'4" | 190 lbs | WR Owasso | 2026 State OK was a breakout star on the gridiron last season at Holland Hall. Wilson has been known around the state for his abilities on the basketball floor but he showed that he can be an absolute star on the football field. This offseason, Wilson has moved from Holland Hall to Owasso and he has the potential to instantly become their top option in the passing game. When we’ve watched Wilson on the gridiron, he’s looked really good on both sides of the ball as a receiver and a safety. But we’re starting to lean to the offensive side of the ball with him as a prospect. This season will be a fun one to watch with him in the Owasso offense.

Wilson is already considered a top five in-state prospect on the basketball floor and he made a big leap in the recent football rankings. Wilson is a very talented athlete and we’ve gotten a chance to see him in both sports. Wilson moved into the Top 25 for the overall prospects in this latest update. On offense, Wilson has the potential to be a game-changing wide receiver. On defense, don’t overlook his ability on the defensive side of the ball at safety. There is no doubt that Wilson is a terrific athlete and he’s going to have some options moving forward. There’s a lot of upside in football.
