Coming out of the Palmetto State, Sam is a 5’9 do-it-all quarterback capable of stacking some elite states. Coming off a big 2022 campaign, Sam complied over 1,500 total yards, 28 touchdowns, and just one interception. With a stat line like that, he clearly can get the ball moving through the air or on the ground without much risk of turning the ball over. On the ground, Sam is a smooth runner who is athletic enough to breakthrough tackles and find green grass. With his speed and athleticism, Sam is also capable of extending broken plays by getting out of the pocket and scrambling to find an open receiver. With the skillset that Sam has shown on the field, it is clear that he is trending towards the top of his class in the quarterback group, and will eventually find himself at the top of recruiting boards with college football programs around the country.

Kevin is another Palmetto State quarterback with an elite skillset. Standing at 5’10 and 150 pounds, Kevin is beginning to grow into an electrifying quarterback who is going to pad significant stats down the road. With one of the smoother throwing motions that I have seen out of this class, Kevin throws a clean ball to his receivers with picture-perfect placement. Another part of Kevin’s game that impresses me is the variation of releases that he uses based on where the ball is going and where the pressure is coming from. Unlike some of the quarterbacks in his class, Kevin shows strong poise in the pocket and the willingness to take shots when he needs to. If there is a defender that is rushing him head-on, he keeps his eyes downfield and gets the ball out quickly to avoid the sack and move the ball downfield. Kevin has put together quite an impressive start to his career and I would not be surprised if he starts generating buss around his name very soon.
