Jones has already bested his 2024 interception total with four of them so far through four games. He has intercepted three passes over the last two weeks helping Mission Viejo get out to a 4-o start. Jones plays bigger than his 5-foot-11 frame and isn’t afraid to take chances to make impactful plays. His ball skills are a strong suit of his game and that has continued to show up this season.

Jones had 51 tackles, three interceptions and a forced fumble for Mission Viejo last season after a monster playoff run his sophomore season.

He also had offers from Alabama, Texas A&M, Cal and Arizona State among others. Jones is the fourth player from California in Washington’s 2026 recruiting class.

Jones moved out wide from being a nickel corner as a sophomore and had 51 tackles with three interceptions and a forced fumble this season.

He recently visited Washington for junior day and will visit Tennessee and Arizona in the coming weeks. Jones has other major offers including Texas A&M and Texas among others.

He moved outside from being a nickel corner his sophomore season and didn’t miss a beat. Jones closes to the ball quickly and is excellent in zone coverage. He’s improved his size and physicality and is a ball-hawk.
