At this point in the offseason, I've watched hundreds of highlight tapes and seen only a small handful of prospects in person. We're in that area of the offseason where camps aren't too common, 7-on-7 is in full swing, and colleges are scrambling to put the finishing touches on the 2026 class before the Feb. 4 signing day. Today, I'll give a quick mention to five players who I personally think have been trending up since the end of the 2025 season.

A couple of years ago, Micah was a young prospect with good size but pretty poor technique. I really liked Micah's potential, but I honestly doubted whether he could take the leaps needed to become a good college prospect.

In the past year, Micah has worked his tail off. Traveling to camps, training sessions, lifting weights, and more. His offseason work has set him apart from other OL prospects when it comes to preparation, and that preparation is starting to set him apart regarding technique. Specifically, Micah has become so much more balanced. He leans much less and always keeps his feet and shoulders square. He's learned to stay in control while keeping that same physical edge.

Still not much college attention for Micah, but I'm confident it's coming. If I were a decision maker for a GLIAC program, I'd have Micah high on the recruiting board.

I said it in a recent article, but I'll say it again here: Mason's work is starting to pay off. Compared to last year, Mason is bigger, faster, stronger, and much more fundamentally polished. Many prospects with Mason's height and length struggle to be as naturally twitchy and fluid as, say, a 5'9" slot receiver. Mason is getting there. From the weight room to a lot of agility training, he's genuinely improved quite a bit recently. Still, as a DB, there's some polish needed.

Knowing how much Mason has improved, and considering his size, I would expect Mason to earn quite a bit of D2 attention this offseason. I don't make decisions for D2 programs, but if I were in a building, I'd do my homework on Mason.

Myles' rise has been pretty fun to watch. At this point last offseason, Myles was quiet on Twitter and held zero offers. Now, he's a blue-chip prospect at DE. His combination of size, length, and bend is extremely rare, and he's continued to improve over the past year. If I were to redo the 2027 rankings today, he'd be the #1 EDGE in the class.

I'm excited to follow Nic's recruitment during this year. In a nutshell, Nic has the size, speed, physicality, and athletic traits to play good college ball. Last season, he proved himself as Hartand's RB1. I am consistently impressed with Nic's burst, and I do think he has a chance to be a running back in college. At receiver, I've seen him less, yet if he proves to have solid hands and route running, his athletic ability should carry him to good offseason performances.

Receiver, running back, whatever, Nic is a prospect that is trending up. I'm looking forward to watching him in person in the coming months.

TyAnthony is a very high upside running back. In person, his athletic ability immediately pops. Great acceleration, top-end speed, and the track numbers to back up the eye test. Additionally, I'm extremely impressed with TyAnthony's contact balance on tape. For someone as light as TyAnthony, you wouldn't expect such great physicality and balance.

There's still room to grow, and TyAnthony hasn't really taken off as an elite Varsity RB like many D1 prospects have. This offseason, I expect him to polish his game even more. Next season, I expect a great leap in production.
