I’m excited to follow Nic’s recruitment during this year. In a nutshell, Nic has the size, speed, physicality, and athletic traits to play good college ball. Last season, he proved himself as Hartand’s RB1. I am consistently impressed with Nic’s burst, and I do think he has a chance to be a running back in college. At receiver, I’ve seen him less, yet if he proves to have solid hands and route running, his athletic ability should carry him to good offseason performances.
Receiver, running back, whatever, Nic is a prospect that is trending up. I’m looking forward to watching him in person in the coming months.

- A burner. Speed to hit the home-run on any play.
- Returns kicks and a huge weapon in the screen game. As a result, Nic has developed good open-field vision.
- Flashes good hands. A few highlights showcasing catch in traffic ability.
- Nearly every highlight shows at least one broken tackle. Does a good job running through tackles, and rarely runs straight into defenders.
- Personally, I could see Nic fitting into several offensive schemes. I view Nic as a “scheme fit” for spread, option, west coast, really any offensive system.

Super athletic receiver from Hartland. Time will tell how he fares on Varsity this season. Though he checks a ton of boxes.
Last season’s tape flashed a wide catch radius, good contact balance, and great IQ in the open field. Could be an awesome X receiver in the KLAA if he meets his ceiling. 2025 should be Nic’s breakout year. If Nic does break out like I’m predicting, Hartland will be much better than most people expect.

I’ve mentioned Honeycutt a few times, but man, he keeps on perfectly fitting criteria for my titles.
I feel that Honeycutt is on a superb trajectory. Really nice testing numbers, a few college camps, and another season of Baseball. Not to mention an extremely promising highlight tape. If I had to bet, I’d bet that Nic will be a GLIAC prospect in a year’s time. Time will tell!

Honeycutt earns himself a very favorable ranking at #66. I’ll again mention the testing times at the Wayne State Showcase. A 4.85 40, 109-inch broad jump, and a stellar 34-inch vertical.
Nic’s 2024 highlight tape is on the shorter side, but it’s still quality. He consistently demonstrates good route running, good ball skills, and flashes of contact balance / RAC. I can’t be 100% confident, but if I had to bet, I’d bet Honeycut is in for a standout Junior season and GLAIC offers come next season.
