A couple of years ago, Micah was a young prospect with good size but pretty poor technique. I really liked Micah’s potential, but I honestly doubted whether he could take the leaps needed to become a good college prospect.
In the past year, Micah has worked his tail off. Traveling to camps, training sessions, lifting weights, and more. His offseason work has set him apart from other OL prospects when it comes to preparation, and that preparation is starting to set him apart regarding technique. Specifically, Micah has become so much more balanced. He leans much less and always keeps his feet and shoulders square. He’s learned to stay in control while keeping that same physical edge.
Still not much college attention for Micah, but I’m confident it’s coming. If I were a decision maker for a GLIAC program, I’d have Micah high on the recruiting board.

Micah is one of the most improved offensive linemen in the class of 2027. Working with Boss Hog Academy, Micah has greatly improved his footwork, balance, speed, and more.
Blocking for the run, Micah does a great job staying square, engaging with his defender, and driving him backwards. His feet are so much more efficient than in years past, and he’s able to stay much more balanced through every single block. Additionally, I like his balance and anchor when pass blocking. Micah could still grow in terms of athletic ability, bend, and footwork. Still, he’s a far cry from the extremely raw prospect he was a few years ago.

Micah is a small school kid that has done nothing but grind and get better over the last few seasons. He’s easily one of the better pass blocking tackles in the state, and has improved vastly in the run game and his overall athleticism. He’s probably a bit underrated due to where he plays but make no mistake about it- Micah has it. I expect to see him out and about this offseason working his tail off at some camps, and I would expect some offers to come right alongside.

It has not been long since I wrote about Micah.
The brass tacks is that Micah has shown considerable improvement over the past few months. Super raw last year, a ton of improvement this year, and someone who I expect to earn college offers next year.
Because of Micah’s noticeable improvements in foot speed, punch, and all-around better pass blocking, he’s earned a rankings boost.

- One of those dudes who has made a lasting impression due to his body of work.
- Good size. Won’t be a problem for most colleges.
- Has shown minor improvements in several areas in the past year.
- Gets out to camps, even though he may be a little further away than others.
- Experienced run blocker
- Has shown up to a ton of events, showing improvement, good size; recipe for a solid college prospect.
- Bullish ranking coming for Micah. Betting on further improvements.

- Checks two very important boxes: physicality and effort
- Decent at locking onto blocks and driving
- Still raw in terms of all-around footwork
- Needs to become better pass blocker
- Could still be a D2 prospect if he works his tail off over the next year. Right now, I lean D3 or NAIA

Micah is coming from a bit smaller of a school than some of these others, but don’t get it twisted, he can play. He’s a powerful kid with solid technique and above average agility. His film shows him being an absolutely destructive run blocker and in the passing game he has good agility and a strong base. Micah is going to be putting a lot more people on notice in 2025, and I’m hoping to see him get out and perform at some camps this year.

I’ve been able to watch Micah’s film and watch him in person. On tape, I really like Micah’s aggression and ability to finish blocks. Souly based on the highlights, Micah had a phenomenal Freshman season.
When I saw Micah in person, I got a great look at his mechanics. All in all, Micah needs to work on his footwork and agility- but I know he’s being coached up. This year may not be the year that he “breaks out” per se, but I do expect to see a longer highlight tape with a lot more variety included. Micah should take a step forward this season, and I hope he’s someone who makes the most of his potential!

I actually saw Micah play last season, and I did come away thinking he has some solid potential. Tri County mainly threw the ball so run blocking comes much more naturally to him. If he wants to continue to rise boards in the 2027 class, he will have to work on passing sets as much as possible, and I would like to see him continue to mature his technique, and staying under control to make sound blocks and not lunge too much. I like what I see so far, and I think at least West Michigan colleges will know Micah’s name soon!

Micah is already a phenomenal offensive lineman in his league. Tri-County doesn’t go up against the powerhouses of Michigan, but against decent competition, Micah dominated at times as a freshman. His fundamentals won’t blow you away yet, but he has that aggression and ability to drive that you have to have as an offensive lineman. In order to keep his position in the rankings as the years go on, he must improve fundamentally and spend a lot of time in the weight room.
