It's officially game week! I'll be making the trip to Grand Blanc to check out Grand Blanc vs. Belleville, which will undoubtedly be one of the best games in the state, and will boast tons of elite prospects. Below are some prospects you should be paying attention to in this one if you're heading out to the game on Thursday night!

BELLEVILLE

The visiting Belleville Tigers will hit the road to begin the season against a tough fellow D1 program in Grand Blanc. While they may be a slight underdog in some eyes, this team will be ready to go in a hostile environment. The following few players are the more known commodities that will be on display on Thursday night.

| Charles "Tre" Britton III | WR | Missouri Commit |

The most elite football player on either sideline on Thursday night will undoubtedly be Tre Britton. An elite receiver that runs every route on the tree to perfection, has superior athletic traits and understands how to get open on every play. The SEC-Bound receiver had just about every P4 school in the nation after him, and it's easy to see why. He will be a game-changer as always, and I am looking forward to getting another look at him, just because of his fun play style.

| [player_tooltip player_id='1149421' first='Kendall' last='Franklin'] | QB |

Kendall has been through some adversity, fought off some challengers for his job, and has done a ton of growing over the last few seasons. He has handled stepping in for the former #1 overall recruit Bryce Underwood about as well as you could ask. He is a really good QB in his own right. Super strong arm that can spread the ball all over the yard, great frame and a growing football IQ that makes leaps and bounds every time I see him work. This will be a massive test against a speedy and swarming Grand Blanc defense. He will have to process quickly, be on time and keep the Tigers on schedule, and maintain composure in a hostile environment. Can't wait to see how he looks at the helm.

| [player_tooltip player_id='1617562' first='Ryan' last='Hodges'] | DL | Northwood Commit |

The recent Northwood commit will have his work cut out for him against a super solid Grand Blanc offense. That speed and power he possesses will be put to the test against an offense that works fast, understands angles and how to attack opposing defenses on the ground. We have seen Ryan really wreck games on the inside, and he will need to have that kind of game to slow down the Bobcats on Thursday night. I will be watching how he is able to fire off, and what kind of moves he has mastered over the offseason to help him control that line of scrimmage.

Other Prospects:

Other prospects to watch will be WR [player_tooltip player_id='1298772' first='Kheli' last='Boyd'], an impressively athletic receiver who will play nicely off of Britton and other weapons, like 2027 RB/LB [player_tooltip player_id='1615717' first='Trenton' last='Foley']. I'll be interested to see how 2028 ATH [player_tooltip player_id='1398333' first='Khalil' last='Woods'] slots into the game plan this week.

Grand Blanc

The home team in this contest will be riding the confidence of last season, as well as an extremely productive offseason that really saw this team grown in every area. This team is fast, extremely aggressive and plays with a hair-on-fire type of energy. Below are a few players we know quite well heading into this week 1 contest.

| [player_tooltip player_id='1525577' first='Jeremiah' last='Coleman'] | RB |

Coleman brings a special blend of speed, power and relentless aggression that really drives this Grand Blanc offense. His ability to run behind his pads between the tackles, and then turn on the jets and hit the open field at full speed is extremely rare. His contact balance is so impressive, as well has his vision and ability to make guys miss. I will be watching as he tries to help Grand Blanc settle into a rhythm offensively.

| Jake Dewitt | QB |

The 2028 gunslinger is officially taking over the helm this season, but it feels like we already know so much about him and his game. Dewitt has put up some insane performances this offseason, most notably his huge day at our PRZ camp back in May. Beyond his great arm and decision making, he has the athletic ability to really deal damage on the ground this season. I'll be paying close attention to how he controls the offense and what kind of poise and leadership he shows on Thursday night.

| [player_tooltip player_id='1685021' first='Joey' last='Asperger'] | OL | Grand Valley State Commit

Joey embodies this offense so well. He plays with that aggression and truly brings the effort on every play. The GVSU commit has a great initial punch, gets under the pads of his opponents and absolutely drives defenders out of the play. I love his competitive spirit and how hard he plays. He will have his work cut out for him against this extremely stout front from Belleville.

Other Prospects

This Grand Blanc defense will have some fun young pieces, including 2028 DB [player_tooltip player_id='1687582' first='Tevon' last='Mason'], who I will be watching for on Thursday night. Other notable defensive pieces like 2027 LB [player_tooltip player_id='1160991' first='Robert' last='Giles'] will be extremely important to their success, as well as 2028 LB [player_tooltip player_id='1986846' first='Anquan' last='Clemmons'], who has evolved a ton this offseason. Offensively, the Bobcats will rely on lanky and athletic WR [player_tooltip player_id='1685033' first='Jace' last='Stinson'] to be a major weapon against that tough Belleville defense.
