Expert Analysis

I have no issue saying I think Kendall has breakout potential in 2026. He has put in a ton of work and really transformed himself into a solid QB with intriguing traits. His growth and development with his accuracy and decision making has been impressive. He typically gets the ball out on time, and when he is forced to move around, he can slide up while keeping his eyes downfield and hit the open man. I think he is at his best when he’s dealing quick and intermediate throws. The arm strength has always been there, and is one of his top attributes. He’s being coached well, and I am confident that he has all of the tools to have a great 2026 season.

Kendall is going to bounce back. The more I think about Thursday, the more I see how difficult it must have been for Kendall. Under constant distress, and against a great secondary.
Pre-game, Kendall looked great. The same consistent mechanics and accuracy we saw in the offseason.
In-game, there were some bright spots. Goalline throw to Tre was a good one. Some examples of elusiveness in the pocket. No doubt that Kendall will catch his stride and get into a rhythm in the coming weeks.

It was a frustrating day for Kendall. Of course, he’s filling some major shoes, which come with large and in some cases unfair expectations.
For most of the first half, Kendall looked uncomfortable. Constantly pressured, became jittery in the pocket, and all-around a tad off-schedule. The whole team was off-schedule.
Starting with the final drive of the first half, Kendall seemed to settle down and began playing better. A great throw to end the half, and a handful of on-schedule and accurate passes in the second half, including a beautiful deep ball where his WR slowed down. The talent is clear. The entire team, including Kendall, have things to clean up. Kendall is built for this, and I trust that he’ll continue to improve throughout the season.

The 2027 QB rankings are far from set in stone. In my rankings, I ranked Kendall #1 because of his existing tape and offseason performances. It’s hard to imagine Kendall not being successful. Has the arm, flashed pinpoint accuracy, and was able to learn from Bryce Underwood in the past couple of seasons.

Kendall is my QB1. As I said in the intro, these QB rankings will likely change quite a bit in the next six months. For now, Kendall is the guy that I’m most confident in.
The new Belleville QB1 has good tape, and he’s been working his tail off all offseason. I view Kendall primarily as a pocket passer. I like his mechanics, I like his accuracy, and I feel great about Kendall leading Belleville very deep into the playoffs.
All of the QBs (including Kendall) have an opportunity to prove it at the Varsity level. Let’s see if Kendall can go out there and defend his #1 position ranking!

What I like about Kendall:
Film. Lots of film. Even though Kendall has little Varsity experience, Kendall has a great sophomore season highlight tape. In addition, he has several dozen YouTube videos showcasing what he’s done this offseason.
Demonstrated by his extensive tape, Kendall has a smooth throwing motion, with consistent footwork and upper-body movement. His accuracy is also good, but he needs to show me more to call that aspect great.
Plus, it’s apparent that Kendall at least has a basic understanding of coverages. Plays like 1:11 show Kendall hit his second read over the middle of the field.
Lastly, the fact that he plays for Belleville and has a high likelihood to play 12+ games this season helps. Games played per season is a little thing, but it still makes an impact.
Question Marks
I do not have verified Height/Weight or testing stats for Kendall, though I don’t have testing for any of these QBs. I also need to watch Kendall in person, and he needs to play at least half a season on Varsity before anyone can get a good idea of his skillset.

It’s almost Kendall’s time! Plus, I’ve been waiting to write a really in-depth evaluation of him.
Kendall’s 2024 tape makes me confident that he’ll be an excellent full-time Varsity QB. A few instances of good pocket presence, lots of well-timed throws, and he can scramble when needed. I especially like the zip he puts on the football and how incredibly quick some of his throws are.
I’m excited to see Kendall finally hit the field and prove himself. Let’s see if he can hold his top-20 ranking until the final update in two years!

Kendall is perhaps the most anticipated new starter for 2025.
There are obviously big shoes to fill, but I’m confident that Kendall will take the pressure in stride. He’s been consistently working on his craft for a few years now, already with plenty of valuable off-season competition experience. On top of that, Kendall is a true dual threat, which is obviously something that most colleges prefer in this day and age.
There’s a very good possibility that Belleville will get to Ford Field in 2025, with Kendall leading the way. I feel like some may count Belleville out because of their graduating seniors, but I feel like they’re here to stay.

One more offseason, and it’ll be time for Kendall to show the world what he’s made of.
Few casual fans know Kendall’s name, but if he lives up to his pretty high expectations, he’ll be a household name in no time. He’s ranked in our top 5 and is the #1 QB in the class, mostly because of his upside and offseason work.
Here’s what I know:
- Consistent mechanics
- Rocket arm (great throw power to all areas)
- Far above-average IQ
- On a program with a track record of future D1 success
? – Pocket presence
? – In-Season Success
? – Throw under pressure

Kendall impressed me the most with his poise. He seemed in control, and acted as the leader that his team needed. He was calm in the pocket, and did a great job of going through progressions and finding guys some other people in his bracket were not. I think his mechanics and footwork will continue to take shape, but he does have a big arm and solid frame that he will be able to continue to build. I came away more impressed than I even expected, and after talking with him and the coaching staff, I have very high hopes for where Kendall could take his game in the future!
