Sam Benson, SR, South Hardin

Benson finished with 1011 yards on just 48 receptions (21.1 YPC) and 13 TDs along with 5 interceptions on defense, proving once again to be the X-Factor for the Tigers en route to a state semifinal appearance.

Staying in West Lyon, Metzger played opposite of Kock at Left Guard, playing just as big of a role in opening up the Wildcats' run game with his pull-blocking, including a grueling 145 yard performance on the ground to push their way over Regina Catholic for the 1A title.

Ryder Slifer, SR, Grundy Center

Owen Menke, SR, Sigourney Keota

A potent blindside blocker, Menke flashed his strength and grueling motor as guided the Cobras' deep run game, helping open the door for 5 different players to rush for 200+ yards during the season. He also had a big role in the Cobras' 285 yard rushing performance during their shutout win over Interstate 35 in the first round of the playoffs.

Meyer led the way for a defense that stifled their opponents with the second best scoring defense in the conference (7.8 PPG allowed). Meyer finished with 53.5 tackles (41 solo), 15 TFLs, and 7 sacks, including a notable 3 TFL/2 sack performance in the state championship win over Regina Catholic. Meyer will be joining his teammate, [player_tooltip player_id='401668' first='Bryce' last='Kock'] in committing to play for Sioux Falls in 2026.

[player_tooltip player_id='1248124' first='Lane' last='Mitchell'], SR, Lawton-Bronson

Mitchell's 100.5 total tackles ranked second in the conference while adding 13.5 TFLs, a sack, and an interception, including 3 critical TFLs during a playoff upset win over Manson-NW Webster.

Jirovsky wasn't able to quite match the same level of dominant success he had at QB during his junior season to earn a spot on this list on offense, but he continued to thrive as a potent player on the secondary. Jirovsky recorded 31 tackles, 8 passes defended, and 6 INTs in 2025, the same amount of total interceptions that he has thrown over the last 2 seasons.

Hegelheimer made all 4 of his field goal attempts with a season long of 38 yards along with making all 62 of his extra point attempts. As the team's kickoff specialist, he hit 24 touchbacks on 81 kicks.
