Scoring the first touchdown of the day, grabbing an interception to steal a touchdown away from the Spartans, and stealing the final pick to seal the deal and end Grundy Center’s 50-game winning streak,

was all over the field Friday morning.
He finished with two catches for 44 yards and a touchdown, adding five tackles, a tackle-for-loss (TFL) and two pass-breakups (PBUs) to his interception on defense.
Like Jirovsky, Greve found a way to impact the game in each and every way he possibly could. Whether he plays defensive back or wide receiver at the next level, he’ll be a home run addition with excellent ball-skills and feel for the game.

has been an integral part of Regina’s sustained success throughout this season. He isn’t one of the big names folks think of on the Regals, but the 6-foot, 165-pound defensive back and receiver has been uber-important in their ten-straight wins.
Offensively, Greve is second on the team in receptions to tight end,

Greve’s size likely won’t get him to the D1 level, but his ball skills and knack to come down with turnovers will be something lower level programs heavily value when deciding who to offer scholarships.
Greve will be one of several players I’ll have my eye on come Friday when the Regals take on standout QB/DB,

has already snagged five interceptions in three games for Iowa City Regina, while, in all of 2024, he grabbed four picks.
Clearly possessing a nose for the ball and the ability to read opposing QBs’ eyes, Greve has shown ball skills and a knack for making key plays on the defensive side of the ball for the Regals. Part of one of the more competitive classes in all of Iowa with three reigning state champs (Tri-Center [Class A], Grundy Center [Class 1A], and West Lyon [Class 2A]), Greve will be a vital piece in Regina’s efforts to dethrone one of the other title contenders in 1A this fall.

Greve always seems to make plays whenever I show up. He stood out last season, again at the Bask2Ballin 7-on-7 tournament in the spring and once more during the Regals’ 28-16 victory against rival West Branch in Week 2 of the 2025 season. He picked off two Bear passes, the first one leading to a touchdown a few plays later. Greve also led the team in receptions (4) and receiving yards (51). Quickness, toughness, speed and athleticism all stand out askey parts of Greve’s success. He also operates with great tempo. You can tell he’s prepared by how locked in he is to what’s coming from the opponent.

is just another weapon for Regina’s second-year gunslinger. A classic slot receiver that can get past the defense when unaccounted for thanks to the other talent on Regina’s roster, Greve makes opposing defenses pay with his speed and ability to catch an over-the-shoulder pass.
The second score of the evening for the Regals, Greve utilized each of his respective traits as a receiver, sneaking past the third level of the CCA defense to catch a bomb over his shoulder for a touchdown.
