Will Helms | Prep Redzone Scout
Craver’s technical abilities are nearly unmatched in this class, a guy who uses his body weight well and handles bigger athletes. His athleticism and quickness make him ideal for Davidson’s scheme. A guy we really liked throughout the process, Craver finishes inside the top 250 in the class after sitting around 300 for several updates.

Craver’s recent Davidson commitment has brought him back into the spotlight after a relatively quiet offseason and we think it’s a perfect schematic fit for the athletic tackle. He’s agile and can pull and do a lot of things in the running game that tackles aren’t often asked to do, which should serve him well in Davidson’s unique offensive system.

Despite being undersized, Craver plays left tackle for Myers Park and his kick step and pass-blocking talent suggest he may be able to stay there at the next level. He’s excellent at staying in front of edge rushers and protect his quarterback. He’ll need to gain some muscle weight to reach his potential as a run-blocker, but he already shows great technique in the running game.
